![]() It's been a really really long time since I have posted. I've been super busy and have had no time to really play with this stuff. I can't believe it's been a year since I've gotten back into this. Anyway...I have a few questions to pick all of your brains with. As soon as I get a couple of boards sold on ebay, I have the go ahead from my wife to build a new board. I've always had this dream plan of mine to build a retro board. I don't want to go too big (since I have my larger sized nebraska board still). I'm thinking of 24 x 48 inches, and I want to go with metal. My other board I made was a fiber board, so here's what I need to find out. How thick of a metal sheet do I need to use, what type of metal works best, and do I keep the metal flat and make a long grove down each inside part of the frame to slide the metal into, or do I fold the edges down, and bolt them to the side? which works the best for the most even vibration.
Thanks for all your help, I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys again. Hope all is well with everyone. |
