NFL predictions....take the weekend to do your homework
As the Nfl puts an end to the preseason stuff, it's time for us to get our 2009 Season predictions posted.
if we can have all members who are interested in claiming "Predictor of the Year" please take the weekend to go over your material or stats or whatever it is you use to make your NFL picks for the season. I think this will be fun, but before you post your selections, proof read your stuff before posting because if you "edit" your original post in any way you will be disqualified for the Grand Prize......oh yeah there is something in it for those who play...no money is being asked.....I was gonna make it a MFCA only, but this is open to all members of our site. Here is is the ticket: beginning on Monday going until Wed of next week will be the posting dates, so do your hoework over the weekend........ you select the final order finish of each division in both the NFC and AFC you cannot edit your post once you have submitted it...if any post is found to be edited-you will be noted. records are not that important, but if you have them add them to your post. we can use that for tie-breakers you will have until Wed sept 9th to post your picks for the season after that the season starts and it will be too late for you. Oh, I forgot, the Grand Prize will be................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......well you have to wait until Tuesday when I will make my predictions. All I can say is it will be one of a kind EF package and/or items.......... K-LO |

NFC East: (still a good division, tough top to bottom)
NY Giants Philadelphia* Dallas Washington NFC South: New Orleans (too much offense; expect a little drop off from Atlanta) Atlanta Carolina Tampa Bay NFC West: Seattle (healthy WRs and QB are enough to dethrone Cards) Arizona San Francisco St. Louis NFC North: Chicago Minnesota* Green Bay Detroit * NFC Wild cards AFC East: New England Miami * NY Jets Buffalo (I'm not buying Trent Edwards here) AFC South: Tennessee Indianapolis Houston Jacksonville AFC West: San Diego Oakland (this should tell you that this division sucks) Denver Kansas City AFC North: Pittsburgh Baltimore * Cincinnati (big drop between 2nd and 3rd here) Cleveland * AFC Wild card NFC Playoffs Wild Card Weekend Philadelphia beats Seattle Minnesota beats New Orleans Divisional Weekend NY Giants beat Minnesota Chicago beats Philadelphia NFC Championship Game NY Giants defeat Chicago AFC Playoffs Wild Card Weekend Tennessee beats Baltimore Pittsburgh beats Miami Divisional Weekend Pittsburgh beats San Diego (still coached by Norv) New England beats Tennessee AFC Championship Pittsburgh beats New England (turns tables on Pats in Foxboro) SUPER BOWL 44 Pittsburgh 27, NY Giants 20. Steelers repeat and win #7.

okay here are the K-Lo Picks for 2009 AFC EAST New England NY Jets ** (defense will be better than you think) Miami (see playoff tape) Buffalo AFC North Ravens - They find the answer to the Steelers Steelers * Bengals Browns AFC South Titans Colts ** (loss of Dungy will show) Texans (breakthrough season to get over the .500 mark) Jaguars AFC West Chargers Raiders Broncos Chiefs Wildcards - I could not figure out who would win between Jets and Colts... the Other will be the Ravens... AFC Title Game Ravens vs. Chargers NFC EAST Giants still the class of the Division Redskins * Eagles Cowboys NFC North - could be the best division this season dispite Lions Bears - it don't matter that that WR is waek, Cutler will make them better! Packers - defense will be better Vikings Lions NFC South Falcons - 1st repeat winner in this division in years Saints * Panthers Bucs NFC West Cardinals - now they will be able to run the ball Seahawks 49ers Rams NFC Title Game Redskins vs. Giants SuperBowl Match Up As much as I hate to pick this because it will not happen but it looks this way to me.................. RAVENS vs. REDSKINS WITH THE RAVENS WINNING IT ALL! |
