Default A Call to Arms!!!

Fellas,

I'm outraged and I need your support! Many of you enjoy a good game of NFL football. The NFL has contracted a terminal case of American greed. Now, they want to Black Out games that don't sell out! Why won't they drop their prices so that the average fan can come back to the game with their families and friends again? Corporate NFL Franchises have grown fat and bloated off our love of the game and it time they went on a crash diet. I want to start a pettion or a letter campaign to convence the NFL to allow the average fan the opportunity to enjoy some pleasure during these hard times. Electric football coaches across the country, what you please help Tron in this cause.Wacthing local games are not enough and there's no reason to keep us limited when we have digtal tv's!
I want to wacth some ******** football and I don't want to only see the Ravens or the Redskins! my fantasy leagues are at stake!!!!!!!

I guess that would be 1 benefit about not having a local NFL team .

I thought the NFL channel was going to show every td scored to be shown on their red zone channel during games .

I have Direct-tv and the Sunday ticket was free this weekend. The red-zone was not on NFL-Network but was on Sunday Ticket. Tron I agree with you. Listening to the Packers-Bears pre game show the Commishioner said they were not blacked out. The last time I was at a game it cost me over 150.00 and the tickets were given to me. WAY TOO MUCH MONEY The labor agreement with the NFL and its players will be up for negotiation in 2011. Next year 2010 will be an un-capped year. Next year you will see the Greed truly fly. Millionaires fighting with billionaires for millions while the hard working fan gets hosed once again. As it stands now, I would rather purchase College Gameday over the NFL sunday ticket.

Default All things considered......

Fellas,
Here's another example. When comcast was the lone cable provider, they tried to make us subscribe to The NFL Network as aseperate channel. It didn't work! Comcast later added it to it's basic package. Now, the NFL network is offering The Redzone! They're not showing games just highlights and some good plays. It only airs from 1pm - 8pm? Please don't pay for that crap! The NFL network needs to make a lot of improvements! The Red zone needs to be aired on the NFL network. I believe in free enterprise and business, but I'm tired of everyone and everything trying to make a buck of of the people! The President is trying to make things work for the people. The people are so unuse to being helped that they think his p[olicies are fixed. We won't let the NFL get away with this crap! It sucks! You can't even get a ticket to the games. The price of a day at the park is like going on a vacation for the weekend.

I second that! I have said this before " LETS CREATE OUR OWN TEAMS" I love the NFL as much as anybody but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Just wait untill the lockout in 2011. After that, just like in the 80's lockout, prices for everything will drop. As well they should. It makes me laugh when someone from the NFL states our main objective is to have a good product for the fans. They must think we are all simpletons. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Default I Agree

100%. I went to the Saints and the Lions game on Sunday and the cost was outrageous. Two tickets 300.00, parking 25.00, gas 100.00 (2 1/2 drive), Beer 7.50 a bottle, nachos 8.00, hot dogs 6.00 and a after game meal. I think that's my contribution for the entire football season, will be watching at home. What really makes me made is that the Saints get most of the concessions so it's a win win situation for them. As for the NFL package and blackouts.Let's come out fellows.

Man - you must be driving a Hummer getting 4 mpg to spend $100.00 on gas for a 5 hour round trip?

You should have gotten in on the cash for clunkers or something.

see some battling and big spending for the big players - but the rank and file guys will see less $$$ - because as the cap goes away so does the minimum.

All in all they will probably still hose us.
