The 1977 Dallas Cowboys:Anatomy of the FF.Net Athlete
Determining how you want to create a team depends on your perception of that team during that era. When I was a boy, the Cowboys 1977 team was as innovative offensively than any team in the NFL.
While my original line for this team will be run blocking, the Cowboys will have 4 other O-linemen who are in the pass-blocking mode and will be interchanged. However, creating these figures seem difficult but on the contrary, very easy. It does take time to put the pieces together. But once you have knowledge of the types of figures and the methods, it becomes very easy. These linemen were created from the stock stand-up linemen. Amazing what a little knowledge can do. For the receivers, I liked the Drew Pearson, Butch Johnson, and Billy Joe in a catching motion. Going up in the sky was important. So having arms extending added a s certain flair. The runners, Dorsett and Newhouse were created from photos. Just a little cutting, pasting, and heating will make this team look pretty good. But knowledge of the players is very important. This was
a great team back in the day. I loved seeing the O-Line do their many line shifts. Reg, will the QB be Danny White? They look great but I want to see the 88 Philadelphia Eagles!!
