How old?!?
Styx,
I was 10 years old and my first football set was Tudor's Superbowl V with the Colts in white and the Cowboys in dark. - OldSchool

It was 1985 and I was about 10 and my brother 8 when our dad pulled out his 1968 620 (Giants / Browns) to show us. Then we got a typical 80's game board with NFC and AFC in the endzones. I think our first set was Broncos Redskins. Later we got a second set that I think featured Bills and Giants.
It seems were were of the last generation to enjoy the game as a youth before the internet and the pioneers changed it to what it is now.

1967 @ 10 years old, first a 500 then in 1968 or 69 a 620 w/Jets/Browns I believe...quit playing after my Dad died in 1970 so I could be an "angry young man" and start trouble...should have stuck w/EF, I'd be able to compete with y'all a bit better

In 1979
I was 9 when I got my first set. It was the set that had the red and white bullseye at the 50 yd line. The teams were red and yellow. I never knew what the model number was for that set. I see it on Ebay all of the time.

I think it was Christmas, 1967 and I was 11. Got the set with white and yellow figures. Tried painting the white figures to make them look like Rams, instead they were just sort of blue and white smugies. Fortunately my painting skills are just a tad bit better now.
