Default ATTN. ALL

Now that I have your attention, it seems we are catching the attention of the war gaming community. This is a good thing. Lynn had mentioned this in another post by The French Guy's, my first custom player. Does this communnity have web-sites and magazines that we could advertise in. I would be glad to donate money to help the MFCA advertise in other table top gaming venues. Table Top Hockey is another venue that we could advertise miniature football. What do you think?

Default Wargamers

Yup. I'm a wargamer myself and can't wait to get rolling. I recently (last couple years) started really enjoying football. While wargamers do have Blood Bowl, there's nothing historical or realistic about it (its goblins and undead).

There are a lot of historical wargamers that might take a shining on to EF. I plan on eventually introducing at the game store here in Carlsbad, CA. They have family board game night - half of the players are the same ones that come on historical miniatures wargame night.

Personally, I think if EF can get the ear of historical wargamers, it just might explode. The rule sets for EF seem to be pretty advanced, and there are a fair number to choose from, so I would say that the time is RIPE.

I'll be at our local wargaming store here in KC tonight (its right next to where I get my hair cut) and he is up on all that stuff. Great store called Tabletop Games. I'll check, but advertising in a national publication like that is a good idea!

The place to go is:

The Miniatures Page

http://theminiaturespage.com/

They take advertisers...and it is probably the biggest Internet venue for those in the wargaming hobby.

"cool mini or not" is a good site too...focused on high level minis painting, so the comments can be quite rude on the figs we show but it certainly is good way to promote MF by his modelling side.

Perhaps I'll post my 49ers niner center, since it's a custom with sculpting and hand paint technic, perhaps I will not be downed in flames too much

Hi,

I posted my work on cool mini or not, for now the votes are quite good (6/10), regarding for the HIGH level of painting and sculpting (higher than I can achieve, honestly) in that website.

The link :

http://www.coolminiornot.com/234030

In the comments, I tried to promote the hobby in words that can touch the miniature modellists and wargamers. Of course, I didn't insert a direct link to MFCA (since the picture suscribtions are moderated), but since MFCA is well ranked in google...we'll see.

In the future I'll try to show other mF stuff on that website, hoping it will bring us some new coaches and/or great modelists.
