Default 1930's NFL Solitaire League

With the discussion of the Solitaire Miniature Football Association, it got me motivated to create a new Solitaire League. It will feature teams from the 1930's NFL and will be played on my Tudor "Tru-Action" electric fotball game board because that fits in best with this era.

Teams that will be featured:
1933 Chicago Bears
1934 New York Giants
1933 Philadelphia Eagles
1937 Cleveland Rams
1935 Detroit Lions
1936 Green Bay Packers
1935 Chicago Cardinals
1937 Washington Redskins
1933 Pittsburgh Pirates (Steelers)

Other Possible Teams:
1930-39 Brooklyn Dodgers
1933-34 Cincinnati Reds
1934 St. Louis Gunners

The main reason i wanted to do teams from this era is because I thought it would be interesting to see these teams playing in color, since the only photos from this time were in black and white.

Default Coach, that's pretty cool!!!

Any chance of you wanting some Tru-Action players because I have some. You probably have them too. I will be watching this. Any chance of you writing highlights on each game?

Default Highlights of games

I will try to write highlights of games. I do have several tru-action figures but really not interested in any others. I don't use them for anything other than to display and for nostalgia purposes.

Default Games per season

1933 was the first year that the NFL was dividied into an Eastern and a Western Division with the division winners playing a post season championship game. Number of games varied between 10 and 14. Looks like 1937,38,39 all teams played an 11 game season.

Not sure what I am going to do yet. I have thought about replaying each season of '33 - '39. But replaying full season schedules gets to be a rather daunting task.
