Default The Creation of the 1970 Baltimore Colts

I got up at about 2:00 am and started customizing on the FF.Net Broadcast Network. This is what I came up with. These are the starters of the the 1970 Baltimore Colts featuring Johnny Unitas and John Mackey!

Great team and now, I will be putting the primer on them and then start the painting process.

Jim Jackson, this is for you! You think I had all these teams already and were just putting them up. No Jim. I had nothing! Every time I make a team, they sell right away. Besides, I was always busy trying to handle orders so I never made teams.

It will take me about 8 hours to create the pose, paint, and decal this team.

I will be using all FF.Net products!

Reg

Default Great stuff!

A work of art as always. What kinda base are you gonna put on the ML Mike Curtis?

Also, I saw a program the other day about football players and head injuries and one of the ones they highlighted was John Mackey. So sad.

Default John Mackey is a friend of mine

I talk to John Mackey sometimes. He lives in California with his lovely wife. I met him about 10 years ago at a show that Frank Johnson and I were at with the Chicago Bears. I did some work for Mr. Mackey at the time. He was always and idol of mine. He's one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

He tells me he still is the greatest TE that ever played. I definitely agree. So you already know who will be catching a lot of the passes when Unitas is in the pocket .

Default I can't cheat, however...

he will get the best base from their draft. I will not be able to help it if the offense will be built around his skillz to get off the line, whether it's a short pass or a medium release.

Mackey should be a factor but Johnny U will spread it around. The only thing is the plays and dice will dictate the playcalling so I probably will not have anything to do with it.

But it would be nice if Mackey was among the league leaders in receptions. If he is, that would be a very nice thing for the league. If he makes about 5-6 receptions a game, the Colts should do good.
