Default question for people using Miggle carry cases

Hi,

I'm still searching for a good carry case solution to carry my team (with bases).

Making my own will be quite expensive (foam + box) comparing to a ready to use solution (especially with the stron Euro : buying in USA is often more interesting than buying in my own country...it certainly explains a little the french economic situation ).

So I think I'll buy a dedicated carry case or two (since I will give a team for my brother christmas, it should be a cool gift if I can offer him the team painted in his own carry box).

Since I will make an order soon in Miggle store (essantially for bases), I 'm looking for the cheap solutions Miggle offers so I can combine the shipping cost to my country. I know I can find stuff on ebay for example (warhammer cases, etc...) but if I can save money and buy everything in one shop...it should be nice (not speaking of the fact I'd support the EF business).

So I searched on the forum for information : someones says that Miggle boxes can't accept figures+bases, other says it works...On miggle website, we can find 2 carry cases, big and smalls.

If I understand correctly, the figs are carried standing ? Remember that I use exclusively (for the moment at least) FF.net figures to make my teams : are that cases big enough for my ff.net big men ?

Miggle is speaking of 2 teams and 8teams capacity : I guess they 're speaking of 22 figures capacity (little box) and 88 (big box) ?

I'm confortable with cutting and other DIY stuff : if the Miggle cases are not good for my purpose (= carrying safely my FF.net teams including tweaked bases), do you think I could easily modify the case to fit my needs ?

If anyone using these products could make me pictures and give explainations, it should be great

Thanks,

Dimitri

in the worst case, I'll certainly buy one (not warhammer because gamesworkshop are too pricey for me, but a wargames dedicated carry case), but if I can save a little money on shipping and buy everything in Miggle...

Anyone is using the Miggle carry cases products ?

I agree the Warhammer case the best available without any adjustments.
But if you want the Miggle case , you can maybe trim the cutouts more to fit your figures with an exacto knife. I know the Miggle cases are alot cheaper.

It's what I was planning to do. I was wondering if anyone here has already tried to modify a Miggle carry case to that purpose

I have a miggle carrying case, but obviously I haven't had to transport my figures anywhere.
The miggle case looks very cool and they are good for storing your unpainted players. I have no idea if the case affects the prongs tho.

perhaps you could make pictures of it (with figures and bases, so I can compare) so I can see if a modification is possible ?

thanks

Default bump

Any picture of the miggle case inside with some figures (ff.net or other big ones +bases mounted) in/on it would be very appreciated. The point is to see if as Mc Gyver (my all time favorite american hero ), I should be able to make something with it.

Think about it :

buying some foam and a case here in france : 20euros (about 30USD), then cutting the figures "holes"

buying a warhammer case, including shipping : 45euros (!!!)

buying a miggle big case : 25dollars (17 euros, I don't count the shipping since I plan a future ordering for bases), then make the standard "holes" bigger (with xacto knife or cutter).

The unknown point is, without pictures, I can't see if that modification is possible.

Thanks

I honestly have never seen anyone with one of Miggles cases, I think that is why you are having a hard time getting an answer.
