Default I'VE NOTICED

COACHES,

i've noticed a certain level of drop off from coaches who posted heavily. This in turn hasmade the chat board a little quiter than the norm.

1) ARE COACHES JUST TAKING A LONG BREAK ?

OR

2) Does membership status have something to do with this ?

If it is number 2, how can we help/correct this ?

Im really not sure but is it public knowledge who are the paying and non paying members. At my job we have something called the leave sharing program. Those who become sick and have not accumulated enough sick leave can enter the program. once entering, any employee WHO WANTS TO can donate some of there leave to that specific person or donate to the entire program as a whole. If you donate as a whole, your donated time will be entered into something like a leave share bank for future use by a random employee. 99% of the time employees donate to a specific friend. Even for maternity leave. with all of this said, there may be a coach who is a closer friend than others who may have temporarily fallen on financial hard times. They may be upset they do not have full access to the web sit at this time.
But we will never know that unless the coach is willing to reveal his mfca status.

Life could be simple, once coach could cut a deal with a skilled non paying coach. I will pay your MFCA DUES for minor services

1) do a few customs

2)tweak some bases

3)decal some things

4) paint all the skin tones on players

etc etc etc.

The board has gotten quiet so im trying to see if all's well with our troops !!

Thanx

Its funny that you bring this up I was just about ready to put a post out saying man this forum is slow and I mean slow. I have been out for sometime due to me coaching HS Football from the end of July to mid November and I love getting on this board when my season ends it's so exciting. This board would get you pumped and excited about EF/MF and it would always get me going in this great hobby again. Hey lets get some excitement going and get this forum and EF/MF on fire.

I just did a comparison of this months number of users and number of new posts compared to last year at this time.

Average Users per day 2008-128 2009-120

Average new posts per day 2008-80 2009-90

So we are slightly down in number of users per day but there are actually more posts per day compared to last year over the same period of time.

I also noticed in looking at the stats that the forum is the busiest during Dec and Jan. Cold weather equates into more posts!

Lightbulb my 2 cents

most coach"s are busy with thier own league chatboards ,getting ready to crack plastic each weekend until the season is over and its playoff and superbowl time, not to mention ,working longer hours and doing more family oriented things ,but it hasnt dropped of that much, just my opinion, thanks.
