You are our second female member. Joyce Rogers in Canton, Ohio is a member and I know the LAEFL (Los Angeles) has a lady who competes with the best of them. I don't know her name. Shabby J could get you that info. I don't know that we have any ladies who actually post here and if they do it is not often, so you may be one of the few.

Don't let that stop you....in the last few months we got our first person from France, (now we have 2), first from Australia, first from Hawaii and there are some other firsts I am probably not thinking about. You might be the trailblazer to getting more women involved in the hobby and you are very welcome here! Tell us more about your MF/EF background and don't be afraid to ask questions. This group has some of the most helpful guys you will find.

Default In the LAEFL they have

Barbara Burke (wife of Perry) she plays and is not a bad coach.

In the Md area (BEFL) Warren Jefferson's wife Eunice plays with the Dolphins.

And then we have/had Ellsie Hargrove, former Miggle Spark Bowl champ several years ago. I didn't see the Hargroves at the Miggle Convo this year tho?

Glad to hear that there at least a few other ladies involved.

I got started just over a year ago when I decided I wanted to give my 8 nieces & nephews something special at the end of our fantasy football season. I came across an electric football game on Amazon. I did some research and found the Miggle Toys website and saw all the custom painted figures. I was sold. I had the kids design uniforms for their fantasy teams (without telling them what I had in mind). It took a few months, but on our draft day this past season I presented them with their teams. We did our draft and then played a few games. We all had a blast! The passing with the TT QBs was too difficult for all of us, so now we use the passing sticks. We're still learning and trying to figure out which rules work best for us, but we're having a great time.

My next goal is to learn how to tweak bases...any advice on that topic would be great!

Hi,

You can search on the forum, there is some articles to start tweaking, or in the past issues of Tweak magazine (available in PDF).

But you're right, tweakers here should make a complete guide for tweaking one day...

another thing to help you, is to find a couple of already pro tweaked bases of diferent models : rookie, TTC, buzzball, etc... so you can use it to compare your own tweaking tries

last thing you can try, is to use Norbert Revells zoomed pictures (available in several topics on the forum) for comparison also ! You see the result on the picture...and try to guess how he made it better than nothing, no ?
