My good friend and athletic director Jeff Parham and his 12 year old son talked about EF the whole time traveling to Florida for his son, Tanner's surgery. This was after I had won the Miggle tournament and Tanner was so interested in how this worked and his dad Jeff told him how he use to play and explained the game to Tanner during the 12 hour drive. Jeff called me Sunday morning after they arrived in Florida wanting to know where he could get a game and how bad Tanner wanted one. Jeff told me that he had been to every toy store he could find and no electric football. I told Jeff don't look anymore that I would give Tanner a game and some equipment to get started as soon as they get back. Tanner's surgery went well and the Parham's made it back home. I took Tanner a Super Bowl game and about six miggle stamped helmet teams and around 100 bases I had tweeked up and passing sticks. Tanner can't use the ttc QB that well because of his surgery. I'm not telling you guys this to say look at me and what I did I'm telling you this because this 12 year old was a tremendus young athlete that has been through alot and can't play sports at this time, but he has fell in love with EF and I would like to help Tanner even more. I was hoping that if any of you guys could send Tanner any EF equipment that would pump him up and help alot. I just remember how exciting it was as a 12 year old to get EF stuff in the mail. Tanner and his dad are playing every day. I asked his mother to type up something on Tanner and what he has been through. I just want to ask you guys to send something if you can. This is what separates this hobby from the rest and this is why EF is the best.

Tanner Parham age 12 was diagonsed with Perthes Disease at the age of 6. Perthes Disease is a disease that effects the hip and causes the hip to loose its blood supply. He has had 8 surgeries in 6 years, 3 of the surgeries were in Charlotte, 2 were in Maryland, and the last 3 have been in Florida. One of his surgeries that he needed had only been done 19 times world-wide, he was the 20th person. He is very athletic and loves anything to do with sports. He loves playing video games but thanks to Butch Carter he now loves playing Electric Football!!!

He would like anything. I call and asked him what was his fav teams and he said Vikings and Gators but Tanner and his dad are going to try and do a two man league. I asked his dad last week how he like it and his dad said he plays all the time. Jeff also said that he was playing in the floor during the Super Bowl and keep trying to get his dad to play during the game. I took him a long drop cord switch last week and when I got to the house Tanner was at the dinning room table playing. The switch help alot because of his lack of mobility.

Butch,
I got some teams and bases for him. Ill give them to you to take to him when you come down or I come up next.
Guys I met Jeff last year and heard this story and was very heart torn for his son. Jeff was so enthused by our league and watching us play. He told of his days playing when he was younger and you could see and hear the excitement of it in his voice.
Please everyone keep this young man in your prayers.
Joel
