The Big East Travels to Texas this week!
The CBSMF officially kicks off this weekend with Catholic, Syracuse and the Florida Gators coming to Texas to take on teams from the SWC. The trip has a two-fold meaning but coaches like Mozeek and Dru Sparks look to leave Texas with carcasses scattered all over the Lone Star state.
Friday Night Lights will swing into action as the Florida Gators, coached by Dru Sparks, will travel to Neyland Stadium to play the mighty Tennessee Volunteers. This will be a nationally televised game to kick off the CBSMF season.
Saturday pits the Tennessee Vols taking on the Catholic Cardinals. Coach Kevin Boddie is one of the preseason favorites to make a run at the national championship. His first test starts with the Volunteers. That game will also be played on national television.
Other teams looking to get in game action include the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, coached by RD, the Texas Tech Red Raiders (Rookie), RJ's team, and a few others. The entire lineup has not been determined yet but the teams from the Big East will walk away with 3 games.
