Another Legendary Coach Joins: Breaking Down the Walls

From the North to the South. From the East to the West. The CBSMF continues to grow in statute as big name coaches sign up to play and compete for the national championship.

At approximately 8:20 am, miniature football great Dearell Brevard, from the Washington/Maryland area signed on to join the Big East/ACC with his Virginia Union Panthers.

Brevard is one of the driving forces behind miniature football in the Greater DC area and considered one of the best in the land. Now, all of America will see how good this coach is as he will compete first against his ACC leaguemates.

Year one is always the toughest year but Brevard is a forward thinker and should adapt pretty quickly. Look for rivalries to develop quickly against KI-Lo, Dru Sparks, Mozeek, and K-Boddie.

Let's give Brevard a big-time welcome as he is a strategic coup in the fertile DC area.

The CBSMF continues to grow with a wealth of talented coaches coming into the mix. It's not to late to be a part of the biggest league in miniature football history!

Reg, thanks for all the kind words, now I have to go and back it up. The brothers in the league are already reaching out to me. Telling me if I need anything just give them a holler. Thanks Morgan, and Kevin. Reg I remember in South Bend at the Miggle convention we were talking and you bought up this League you would like to see. It’s funny how a thought became reality.

You much deserve to be a part of the CBSMF as you will be a great competitor. Like I tell everyone, give the rules time to sink in and just keep asking guys throughout the country for strategical help.

As far as an idea becoming a reality, I've done nothing more than throw out the "What if" but it took guys from across the country who had some belief in what I was saying to make this a reality. It was those guys, who you see hyping this up, that made this a reality.

Having guys like yourself involved is important strategically because you are a major player in a hotbed of MF. Plus, DC is a great destination to bring the CBSMF. I know up the road we will be looking to move this "Show" around and why not in the Nation's Capital, or Vegas, or Hotlanta!!!

The marketing potential is so great to rejuvenate the game in various corners of the nation but you need people who believe in the product. I think we've got good people at the top (Greg Hardmon - Commish, Steve Martin - National Treasurer) and good coaches.

The great thing about this league is that it is a "teachable" league. With the ability to play games on Internet TV, coaches from other parts can watch the strategies of the league and implement them. Like I told the guys in the Great Lakes, "I am not here to hijack their style of play." I respect their pro league. It is among the best in the country. Just give this a try from the college perspective. If they liked it, wonderful. If not, that's okay too.

So that's what I tell you too Dearell. You are a leader and others will follow your lead so yes, I am happy you have come aboard.

Now, go out and take yo' whuppins' like every new rookie.
