Default I am curious: Will the MFCA always have its...

show in Canton?

I know that you'll have had it there for the 3rd year in a row. It's just one of those interesting questions as I wonder, would you be thinking again in 2011 of having it in Canton?

I know I am not on the MFCA board but just as a member of the MFCA, I just wonder. I am seeing or hearing that the CBSMF can not be having games played while the MFCA is doing things. Or that games will have to be played in the hotel rooms? I just need to know what truth is in this before I waste my hard earned money and come to Canton.

Default .

You think it would be a WASTE of money to go to the Pro Football Hall-of-Fame and socialize with other electric football coaches?

I'm not sure what you are hearing, but Greg Hardmon and I have talked twice about setting up a coordinated schedule so that everybody gets a chance to participate in as many of the events as possible within both tourneys. Things like the HOF awards ceremony, dinner, tweak off an other events would not be able to happen if everyone is playing their CBSMF games at the same time. It's about being organized so that those who choose to come get the most out of the overall event and can compete or participate in all that is offered.

The itinerary is posted for the MFCA and we have asked the CBSMF to try to schedule around some of the events. We expect that the CBSMF will have their itinerary together soon and will post it right along side the MFCA's. We want to work together with the CBSMF and that is all that has been discussed. Anything else you are hearing that didn't come from either Greg or myself is hearsay.

In regards to whether we have it again in Canton, it will be up to Board of Directors and the comments and wants of the MFCA membership.

I think regardless if we have the annual convention there or not, there will be some kind of an annual event coordinated with the HOF celebration. There are some great connections and things coming together that make Canton a special event.

Default Tomkat, I have always...

socialized with other coaches. So that is not even worth a discussion.

Wolf, I talked to Greg and he told me what's up. Thanks...

I for one like the idea that the College Tourny and MFCA events will be broken up so all can participate in both.

I know I could only participate in the College seires last year because of the involvement of the College Bowl series. ( which was a blast)

I would have like to participate in the skills compitition and other events.

Thanks to both Greg and Lynn for working this out so both can be ran during the weekend.

We have so many little symbols to choose from but we need a little circle faced person with a big spoon stirring the pot. That would be more appropriate than responding with words to posts like these.
