Default The Great Great Event Is Upon Us (2 Week Chatter Starts Now)

COACHES,

I've been quietly practicing for the great show come june 29th, but now it's time for some non stop 2 week chatter !

1) what do you expect to see at the brawl

2) what do you expect to learn at the brawl

3) who do you expect to meet/play at the brawl

4) what do you expect when the divider comes up

5) how are your practices going

This reminds me of leonard vs hagler when it was so quiet in vegas before the fight, they billed it as "ALL'S QUIET ON THE VEGAS FRONT" FOR NOW !

BRAWL TALK has been strangely quiet, this is exactly how i envisioned it !

EXTREME silence before "ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE" !!!!

That is what makes great events, everyone has their game face on right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!! "ALL IS QUIET ON THE PORTSMOUTH FRONT" FOR NOW !!!!!!! HERE WE GO FOLKS !!!!!!!!!!! Strap on your seatbelts, this is going to be wild!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smile Brawl talk...

Dre, I don't know what to tell you my friend... It is unusually quiet on the chat board before this tournament. Now my phone on the other hand has been blowing up. Guys are asking questions, they're practicing, and they seem to be taking things seriously. I'm looking at this as a good sign.

1) what do you expect to see at the brawl
I expect to see coaches who participated in last year's Brawl, do better in this years tournament. Coaches like Dearell Brevard, Biglock, Joe Greco, and Kevin Thrower made a serious impact in this style of play last year. They'll probably be more confident (AKA dangerous) this time around. I also expect to see people having some serious fun by taking advantage of our beaches and pool.

2) what do you expect to learn at the brawl
Since I'm a student of the game this is a tough one to answer. I'll just say this instead... I plan on learning everything that is being taught at the SWB. If anyone has pertinent information about any of the different aspects in our hobby; I plan on soaking up your knowledge like a wet-vac.

3) who do you expect to meet/play at the brawl
From the greenest coach to the most seasoned vet, I look forward to meeting everyone and seeing old friends. Hanging out with all of my brothers from across the country is an added bonus. I'm looking forward to getting some board time with a lot of guys... so It's all good.

4) what do you expect when the divider comes up
I expect some very creative plays on both sides of the ball. I also expect to see some very BIG plays if coaches don't learn to defend more of the field than they're use to doing at home.

5) how are your practices going
I don't really practice but my preparations for the event itself are somewhat on schedule.

Peace,

OldSchool
