Default Meet New Coach Tyler Davis and the Merced Bears

I would like to introduce my grandson, Coach Tyler Davis, the 13 year old coach of the Merced Bears. Tyler painted his first team that he got from Grandpa and Uncle Geno for his birthday. Grandpa bought the field and the players, Uncle Geno provided the tweaked bases. Tyler will be attending the Mid America Melee in Lyons, Kansas on April 17th and 18th where the Merced Bears will be playing in their first tournament.

I am very proud of the paint job that he did. He painted all of the players himself, and it is his first team. We did the decaling together last night, and I will never forget the fun that we had. We both agree that decaling sucks, but we never wavered, learned a lot, and will do much better next time. And now, the Bears.

Default Great stuff!

There's nothing like that first painted/decaled team for a young coach. Way to go.

Looking good!

You guys are always welcome to come down here to Los Angeles for some EF action.

We have an annual tournament each fall and we generally play through out most of the year.

Coach Tyler, That is a fantastic first paint job!!!!!! Good work young man. Now when you get to Kansas I will teach you how to TWEAK bases (so you can whip up on grandpa) . I cant wait to see the first base you tweak. Your Merced Bears have the EXACT same paint job as my fantasy team G-FORCE. I will have a couple of surprises for you when you get to Kansas.
