Dixie League Roll Call

I need feedback for who is planning to attend the 2010 Dixie League playoffs and championship. The dates are Saturday May 15 and Saturday June 19. Please post if you are coming! This year should be a record year for participation. We had 24 coaches last year. This year should be over 30! Please post!!!!

Does not look good for me as my soon to be son's fiancee' has her Masters degree graduation and party that day...she has worked very hard and it would be an insult to both her, my wife and my son to not be there.

Bummer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so much looking forward to attending for my
second year, pretty much since the ride home after last year, with a team I know, my 4.0 Jets, and bit more EF experience under my belt.

I have to do the right thing...

I heard that there will be a good turnout from the ATL and BAMA crews attending.
I think the 1st meeting will be alittle off as far as attendance. The 2nd meeting should be record turnout.
This has been brought to my attention numerous times on the subject of just 1 date. Maybe more could make it to 1 weekend and get it all wrapped up?? I know tradition of this league has been 2 weekends so this may be something we all need to address,

Dixie League,
You got a week now to get ready if you arent already set.
Anyone got any predictions or input on who they think will do well this year?

I have a few to kick this off.
Here are the guys that I think will do well.
1. Butch Carter - Will have a new squad but they are well prepared to keep the title in the Carolinas.
2. Brian Redmond - I know he looks foward to this and he is the reigning champ and only 2 time champ. He will be a factor.
3. Charles Lane - Always tough and will bring his A-game as usual.
4. Adrian Baxter - Heard he cant make it to the 1st rounds and thats a bummer. But he will come in June and will be ready to make it to the finals again.

Now for some newcomers and some upcoming veterans. I got to give some props.

The bama gang will be hard to handle as usual also. Dont want to leave out David and Gary.
Jasper made a good run last year and has a few tricks up his sleeve too.
Rafiyq will bring some pain and will have them Bucs ready Im sure. His skills have improved tremendously and Im keeping my eye on him.

Now a few of the guys that Ive watched the last couple months.
Mark (tbuc) has a very nice squad. If he plays smart defense and hits a few passes he will be a contender.
Hughston (Chetdakota) has been working hard and I know he will have those packers ready to give everyone fits. Ask Adrian about last years game.
Kelly Carroll (Kaintgetrite) Has been practicing and tweaking his behind off and I can see the results of his dedication. He will sneak up on you and put one on you if you arent careful.

Joe Ram is he can make it is another one that will do the same as he has been working on his team religiously.

All is all this is one tough league and whoever comes out on top, it will be a well deserved and earned championship.

But if I have anything to do with it I will not let that trophy leave its home. Right here in MY BACK YARD.
