Default Chicago Miniature Football..."King of the Hill"

Hey guys, I wanted to post this picture of a great public place to play here in Chicago...the highway public stop areas (restaurant/rest area) that they call Oasis. These particular pictures are from the Hinsdale Oasis off of I-294 near 55 but there are several others too. These are easy places to get to, have plenty of space, a variety of food and drink (with free refills), is wide open with great windows and views, and a lot of public foot traffic to check out the action. Sorry these are the only two pictures I took, one from outside, and one inside where we setup the boards but it should give you the idea.

I have a trophey labeled Chicago Miniature Football "King of the Hill" and my plan is for the winner of each of the mini round robin style set of games will get their name ingraved onto a plate that goes with the trophey, to preserve history . The trophey is kind of like the Stanley Cup in that you can keep it until the next time we do "battle". I am trying to setup another game date soon and when I do I'll post it here so if anyone is interested in coming up and playing let can let me know.

Joe

Is this the Chicago Oasis? If so we stopped here on our way out to D.C. Very nice place and would be a lot of fun to play at.

Doug, actually I can't take credit for the idea but it sure is a great spot if you can find anything like it in your area.

Steve, I would love to do an MFCA regional tournament. I have some ideas and I will call Jim to discuss.
