REALLY COOL

In league/club play, it 's not so expensive. 10 guys giving 20USD and it's done. Really cool, cool stuff. It joins the things I was thinking about (pro videos and stuff like that). So cool, I'm jaleous, I'll never aford that thing

Even if I believe, with a little work (I'm rusty with AS2 code) I should be able to code something like that with Flash...

That's one of the more affordable models I've seen. I've always wanted to implement some sort of significant scoreboard into my miniature football set up, but even $239 is a little out there, though all the different functionality of it can't be denied. It looks like you could put each team's helmet on the top of it on the home and visitors' sides to dress things up a little bit.

Hopefully. It's bad because on Amazon, there's only one seller (at least there was when I looked at it). We need multiple sellers to get on there with the same thing to start driving a bargain.

Then again if the thing doesn't sell they may stop making it which would probably create a bargain so they could get rid of them which would also decrease the chance of even getting one. My daughter is a cheerleader for the Pee Wee Team in town and they play on fields that don't have scoreboards. This would be perfect. Any parent could operate it, use it as a PA system or play music for the cheerleaders to do their routines to. This is the market I think they are going after not players of electric football. Other than the scoreboard that Miggle sold there is no really nice scoreboard with a clock for this hobby. With all the detail of the figures, field covers and even lighted stadiums it would be cool to have a functional scoreboard and clock for miniature football. I guess it comes down to price and what you prefer. A countdown timer and a vintage Tudor scoreboard are stlll great.

If there is one...there is another and it may be even more fitting for our hobby...keep your ears tuned to the wind. Patience grasshoppers.

Question These things always amaze me...

I have had this type of set up designed & worked out specifically for MF and it really isn't this expensive...

All you need are a few 555 IC's, some 7 segment LCDs and some inputs...

Really shouldn't cost that much. I just need someone who can program the integrated circuits...

Anyone out there have the skills???

Honestly, if I work a little to remember my adobe flash lessons (since I'm a graduated graphist after all! LOL), I should code something similar in AS2 code...with fancy graphics, sounds, timer etc... So anyone with a computer will be able to have the same features. It's not so complicate to build a timer in AS2 code, and put some graphics on it.

But the only thing I need is about 10 extra hours per day to complete all my projects on to do list
