I love this thread! Since I've never played anyone outside of Josh (omgitmoves) here in town my list is a little different as to people I want to meet and play at the same time.

5. Benoit Racette. It would turn into a game of EF, followed by Subbuteo, followed by table hockey!

4. Scott Hooper. Hoop vs Hoop! That's a dream matchup if I've ever seen one!

3. Morgan Scott. Genuinely nice person I would love to meet, and pick his brain on strategy.

2. Karim Campbell. Enjoyed chatting with him online, and there is a lot of knowledge there I would love to get out of him!

1. Reginald Rutledge. I could listen to Reg talk about EF all day. Probably has forgotten more about the game than I will ever know.

And a sixth guy would be Lynn Schmidt of course! Needless to say he helped me a ton get into the hobby.

And a seventh would be Dimitri! Though I have no one to cover Vernon Davis

Default Top 5 I never played

In no particular order.

Edgar Downs - He was the king of his style of play and I like to play the kings.

Mike Robertson - He's the king of Texas and I heard he's super cool to hang out with.

Glenn Pheonix - Just because I'd have him laughing the entire game. Who cares what the score would be. We'd probably never finish the game.

Reggie - Just because he's make a poster of our game, broadcast it, announce it, sell tickets to it and that would be pretty fun.

Vince Peatros - I need to develop my OWN opinion of this guy instead of reading what everyone else thinks of him. Plus I know I would learn a few things and I always like that.

Another good question - Jim Davis is on a roll as the MFCA investigative reporter.

Again, in no particular order:

1. Reg Rutledge - Seen him at multiple events, but we've never had an occasion to play an actual game. It would be the ultimate goal for me to learn the Shootout system and then play him, even if I lose 73-3 and all my players get injured such that I finish the game with a magentic referee at quarterback.

2. Vince Peatros - He can be Georgia Tech to my Cumberland and beat me 222-0, that's fine. I just want to see what the legend is about and learn a thing or two.

3. Joe Greco - Missed a chance to play him, if I remember right, by losing to Tom Ruesink in a Buzzball event a few years back. Would be another fun game on the board, even if I get crushed. Intrigued after having seen him play online a couple weeks back.

4. James Crews - My loss to Tony McKinstry way back in one of the first Summer Slams cost me a chance to play him in the final, which I would have lost, 340-0. But it would've been cool.

5. The French Guy - But he had to come here because Ed don't fly.

Default Top 5

In no particular order:

Norbert Revels - I would like to play a full game with him

Dearell Brevard - I've been at numerous tournaments with him and we've both been in the NEFL for 3 years and yet I have never played one down against him

Mike Turner - we just scrimmaged a few plays at the CBSMF. Would like to play a full game

Chuck Lawrence - always end up talking to Chuck at Buzzball and Miggle but we've never had the chance to play

Frank Jacobs - would love to see my Jets play his Houston Oilers in an old-fashioned AFL shootout.

Default Top 5

1. Vince P - He and I have a very good dialog and have enjoyed my conversations with him. Think I'd learn some things and we'd have a good time.

2. Mike Robertson - I've seen the videos - very solid coach and master of the shootout style.

3. Reggie R - He and I had a good time talking EF one time when I came to Dallas on business and he came out. He is the Don King of the hobby and I love the hype.

4. Celo - In addition to being a fine coach, I'd love to see the spectators he'd bring along! That passing football would look might small!

5. Butch Carter - Adrian first started telling me about him and would be fun to lock horns.

Default good question...

5. Norbert Revels - because he likes to remind me that he has more trophies than I do.

4. Bee Nutt - I've never heard of him losing a game and he's a great guy. Would love to get on the board with him.

3. The FOTH (Mr. National) - because the FOTH thinks I can't play any other style other than shootout.

2. Adrian Baxter - the best around. Period!

1. Vince Peatros - he has the best base talent I've ever seen and most likely ever will see but I don't know if he can coach a game with pressure on him and not quit! Would love to see it!
