Default Redskins preview 2007

Thanks to Dm, I have to put up my Redskins Preview for 2007.

QB - Now the the J.Campbell era really begin this season (from the start) you will see that he has the skills to make the offense shine. Strong in the pocket, he will get pleny of time to look downfield for all open recievers.

RB - Well after a breakout season last year, L.Betts will be more of the punisher after C.Pottis races arounf the outside. Our 1-2 combo will be extra special if Portis can stay on the field. FB M.Sellers will be leading the way and they will get back to getting him the ball in the redzone like 2 years ago.

O-Line - with the addition of T.Wade moving in at LG, we have a huge line made for road-grading... only gave up 9 sacks last year, should be better this year. oh, BTW, we were #4 in rushing last season.

WR/TE - S.Moss will be back to the ProBowl level this season now that he has worked with the QB more during off season. Look for more big plays down field. C.Cooley is a monster at the TE spot and will most likely command more attention which will make it hard to double up on Moss. Only weakness is which WR will step up and take the #2 spot. I feel that Randle-El will be the one because he has the talent and the heart to run the plays that used to go to Moss.

Defense

D-Line - we did not add any newcomers so it will be up to the guys we have to make their presence felt. If we get any pass rush from them, our blitz packages will be extra special.

LB - we now have a tackling machine in the middle (L.Flether-Baker) and more speed on the outside, the unit is solid.

CB - The return of Smoot and a healthy S.Springs inproves the unit. We also have C.Rodgers coming back and improving along with D.Macklin to secure the coners.

Safety - We will have a pair of the hardest hitters in football back there. Going over the middle will get someone busted-up when S.Taylor comes crashing down them. Or Rookie Landry cracking some ribs.....

The experiments are over, back to winnign the Joe Gibbs way!!!!!!!!! 11-5 or better.

K-LO

LOLO,
Portis can't save you! Santana will never prevail! The great by gone days of Coach Joe are long gone! LOLO, you must relize the pearl of your beloved SKINS also Lies with the fate of Decals master's beloved GIANTS, total humiliation and irreversable domination. Please don't let me tell you what AFC team is gonna to get totally extreme on the NFL this year. You know who they are!

Default K-Lo

The skins are my second favorite team so I have to chime in. I like Campbell and he will have what every young qb needs....a strong running game to help him through. I like Moss and Cooley but am a little concerned that El will be the #2. Here in the burg he was a #3 even when he was #2 and I think that he excels in that role. The D is solid but I would like to have seen the addition of a pass rusher although I still think that they will be ok. I see this as the last year for Gibbs, who is one of my favorite coaches all time, so they need to kick it in gear. The record 9-7 and they will make the playoffs in the weak NFC.

Default Blah, Blah, Blah.....

....man Redskins ain't got a chance in $%^& to beat the Cowboys this year or next. We own them and it will be us and the Eagles at it once again. Until Gibbs retires, the skins will not win nothing!!!

Default And also, K-lo...

Take off the Homer vision glasses. Not saying the Giants are...it doesn't even matter. You can look with an objectional view and honestly keep a straight face and say that the 'Skins are 5 games better than the Giants? All I can say is **cough**Bull----**cough**

But I should have expected as much because you didn't say anything bad about them in the post when they do have holes which I won't even go into.

Thru the 90's when we had EX-Cowboy coaching us (if that don't spell setut for a loss I don't know what will) yes the Cowboys owned the redskins.

But post up YOUR football knowledge of the upcoming season, if you ain't scared, and prove to me why they would win. Last time I check in the resent history of one of the greatest rivalries in NFL, we been spanking that ..... well you get the picture....

Default That was not the question...

You think that with basically the same team as last year the 'Skins are six games better than the G-men and Six games better than they were last year?
But Skin's fans are the BIGGEST homers in the world, though. So...you know.
