Default Question of the Day: How do you leave the game?

For many years, I have contemplated leaving the game of miniature football. Sometimes the demands become overwhelming. Other times, unappreciated. For me, I can just about go into seclusion and experience the type of bliss that few could ever even imagine!

For some, they come and go. I like to think of myself as a "Lifer". Someone who will always preach and play the game of miniature football. But I also know how quickly a flame can be ignited on a coach and in a matter of weeks, he's never heard from again.

I say this because of the urgency I feel it is to become an active member of the MFCA. I say this because you may be one of those "little flames" that just need some gasoline poured on it! When 'Dre asked the question, "Who's with me"? Honestly, at least 100 responses should have came across the board saying "I'm in". It's so easy to sit back and say "I'm in the hobby but I'm not really in it". You're probably one of those who is a part of a league but still holds shame that people associate you with the game! However, when the press comes to your town, you definitely want that air time.

I have been blessed in my time to be an accomplished singer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, and now looking to enter another profession but everyone in all those industries know me as Reg, the football guy!

We have a chance to do something special for generations to follow. We've got a chance to leave a legacy. To carry the game on! My question to you is "How will you leave this game"? Will you try to help put it on the map like Snowboarding and Paper, Rock, Scissors?

Default game

i don't plan to leave this game ..unless i just cant do it anymore..during my almost 50 years of life Ive been a Shop manager of a glass shop (30 years)..Ive been a part time sports writer for the Monroe guardian...Ive been a sports color commentator for a small town radio station..i had the privilege to work for the university of Michigan for 3 1/2 years..I also had my own DJ business for 10 years...............but through it all i was always playing promoting electric football.. i guess i always will

i first started playing the game in 1970..i was in my first league in 1971..and since 1984 ive had a league with guys or in solitaire form...this game is a big part of my life...and i feel blessed to been able to get to know all the fine people that have graced this hobby over the years...ive thought my sons how to play and am teaching my grand children to play now also
.Just as my grandfather played with me when i got my first set.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL the great people ive met and done business with and have played with over the electric gridiron over the years...and even to the ones ive not met but read and get post from..you guys .and gals rock...your some of the finest people ive ever come to know..even the Ohio state ones..lol

and i pray that this hobby continues on and on over the years long after were all gone, this is a truly unique game that fires the imagination and is a game for all

Talking Free time?

What would I do with all of my free time if I was not in this hobby? Wash the dishes, vacumm the floors, clean, cook, paint my garage, mow the lawn, get my oil changed, pay a bill or two........

NAH! Forget that stuff......

E-ball baby!!! Miniature football is more than a hobby, it's a way of life!

Default Reg I'm with you &

Reg I have been quietly giving Dre' some folks that can help with things. So I feel what you're saying. But you know as we've talked a many, many times before that there's so much that can become that hasn't YET. But you do have some guys with passion like yourself, Dre', Smitty, Oldschool, Tron and many others that love this hobby and will keep trying to make it more than just a hobby. I see in the very near future us (MFCA) having larger crew as the game keeps evolving. I see us as the old AFL & NFL we will merge, and emerge.
