What Town/city Really Say's Football To You.

I was listening to the radio and there was a gentlemen who said he just came back from a packer game. He said that is the greatest football area in the world. It's small town america. He said the stadium is right smack in the middle of nowhere, there are houses literally 100 yards from the stadium.
That's a football town !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I just think a playoff game in Green Bay in the dead of winter is the ultimate in football.
I used to love watching the Vikings when they were out in the cold but from a spectator view, they lost a lot by going inside. I am sure the fans like it inside but it was great to see Jim Marshall in the snow. The uniforms with the cold mud, it was a great time. Watching the squeaky clean Colts and Chargers just was not like watching the Packers and Vikings in the old days. Most of you just won't get to have those memories. But you do have NFL films.

When the whole thing went commercial , all the big games went to warm weather or in domes. Then a new era came and new towns became identified with NFL.

The biggest looser is Los Angeles. The biggest winner is Indianapolis.
Cleveland and Balimore traded off but the pain is still felt. MONEY talks.

One of the best aspects of Electric Football is you can have any team from any era from any town that they played in. Long live this hobby.

Might be a little biased since i'm from canton, but i cant see how anyone else are better fans or more crazed then Browns fans... (maybe raiders fans) I live down in FL and still fly up for about 6 games a year. Still a season ticket holder. This is our brownsmobile that we tailgate in. If any of you guys ever go to a game in cleveland let me know and we'll tailgate.

Dawg...have you ever met BoneLady? She has a kick butt car also. Can you bring your car out to the MFCA convention in August at the J Babe Stearn Center when we do the United Way event with the kids? There will be a number of other fan vehicles there on display.

As to the actual question of the thread, I have to go with Green Bay. That last game in the snow...that's what football should look like! Arrowhead on Sunday though is a great place to be if you like tailgating...

I might be able to do that, All my family lives right there in canton and thats where the car is stored. When you figure out the dates for sure let me know. It'll be good to get up there during the preseason to get it all ready for the season instead of flying in friday night and haveing 2 days to get it up and running for the year. What all does it involve or what are the other details? And is that for the HOF?

There's no place I'd rather be or even live than up in Knoxville, Tennessee on an autumn morn overlooking the Tennessee River with the Vol Navy.

Knoxville is covered in Orange and White! It's beautiful all year and you get to hear Rocky Top all year.

Even in the winter, when it snows, if you are in an airplane, you can see orange and white snowflakes coming down out of the sky.

It's for the MFCA convention. August 1-3 at the same time as the HOF Celebration. We are setting up electric football events for between 300-800 kids together with the Pro Football Ultimate Fan Association and the United Way. Here is the link to the original announcement.

For NFL-level football, it's inevitably Green Bay which says "football town" to me. You've got the legacy of "the frozen tundra" and numerous NFL championships and three Super Bowl wins, the legacy of Lambeau and Lombardi, Starr and Favre. That wonderful old field and the Cheeseheads.

For college football, any place which has a good, old-fashioned, open bowl of a stadium which can easily seat 90,000 and you see filled to standing room whenever a game is played there. On natural grass. That's football the way it was intended.
