Default My Thanks To All And Some Pics From Detroit

PLEASE EXCUSE THE FORMAT, ITS NOT A POEM. IT WAS SO LONG, I DRAFTED IT FIRST BUT, IT KINDA CAME OUT LIKE THIS. BEAR WITH IT PLEASE. MUCH THANKS TO GET ACROSS.

GOTTA SHOW MY LOVE ON MY FIRST

CONVENTION.

[size="5"][size="6"][size="7"][size="5"]To walk out of my hotel room, and be

able to look clear across the entire

building with a full view of rooms to

go to was the bomb. SPECIAL THANKS

TO THE LANDSMENS FOR HOSTING SUCH A

WONDERFUL EVENT. The Hotel was an

excellent choice. the suites gave

everyone room to have the family, set

up boards and go to work on the

painting and customizing. each room

was like a new excitement cause i

knew i was gonna come outta there

with more knowledge and friendship

than when i went in. Everyone made

me feel comfortable, and, for alot of

you, i didnt even feel like we just

met. i certainly look back, and cant

believe we all just hung out for only

3 nights and 4 days. So please, if

you will, allow me give my respects

to you guys....

first let me list the guys i missed

talking to. i absolutely wanted to

rap with you guys but didnt.
Norbert - wanted get into the yoda of

base tweaking for a bit.
Jeff Priest, Greenbay Glenn and

Ravenna Al - i see your postings all

the time and would have loved to meet

you guys in person.
CLMDESIGN - already dropped a post on

our missing eachother.
Greg Harmon - you seem like a real

cool dude. who wouldnt want to be

buddies with THE CHAMPION!!!!
Gotta catch up at the next outing.

Now the guys i met and talked with,

but deserved for more time.
Guttman - the moderator
Michigan Joe - the figurator (those

cowboys looked even better in person)
Joe Greco, Ed Roche, Jim Jackson,

Wolverine (what an outfit) and my man

from the ATL at breakfast. didnt get

your name but stories on the PO were

entertaining. gotta get up with you

next time.

ANYONE I FORGOT, ITS POSSIBLE CAUSE

IT WAS BUSY. I TRULY APOLOGIZE. IT

WAS JUST SUCH A GOOD TIME.

and to the guys i did HAVE THE

PLEASURE to meet for the first

time.....

Derell - whats up with that FSU team?
Smitty - felt like i knew the guy

already from watching the DVD all the

time. shoulda hit you up with the

multi-stop explanation when you were

schoolin those two dudes on the side.

i can tell from afar, that you enjoy

talking about ef, and i find that to

be great. i definetly short changed

myself by not asking more questions

when i was in your company.
Jimbo - you introduced yourself to

me, and right there, i was honored.

i gotta talk to you more over a

beverage next time out. thanks man.
CorEy - the laugh meter was

constantly on when you around. i

read so much about you, and you did

not dissappoint. everything was in

slow motion for you, just too cool

brother.
Rasta Cleon - dropped the post on you

too, but i still gotta send you a big

thanks for giving me a buddy spot in

your crew this weekend.
BroncoMan - yo mike, you sure did

rock a bronco outfit everyday! and

like Cleon, you gave me a roster spot

in your team for the weekend. Thanks

for puttin me down.
HARVEY - Class act brother all the

way. Driving me to the store to help

me buy what i needed was out of your

way but not unnoticed. holding my

bags was not unnoticed. but the

company was even better than the

gracious attitude, so it couldnt get

much better from a person than that.

big thanks man.
Chuck - thanks for the time, coming

to my room and rapping about bases

and other things. that was real good

of you.
FORU2HATE- I dont hate you and no one

should hate on you. KEEP SELLING

THOSE FIGS MAN. YOU GOT A GOOD THING

GOING. But dont forget, i listened

and learned when you spoke. working

on my custom figure right now. he

runs in slow motion with full arm,

leg and head movements while hovering

over the base.
Mark - hope you got on the board by

now man. enthusiastic conversation

about ef, mf, jobs, and everything

else we covered was real good.

thanks for the dinner too.
Steve Martin - Again, class act dude.

didnt talk to you a whole lot -

conversation wise, but i am sure i

would have left there more impressed

had i done so. next time my friend.
Jim Davis - never did get to ya for

those bases. never did get to ya to

pick your brain on things. but if

you are not the Godfather of MF who

is? you were always chillin there

with your cool cane (not as cool as

mr. landsmen though ) and you always

had a crowd around you. i would

acknowledge you eachtime with a tip

of the head or thumbs up and you came

back with a short smile and real cool

nod. they dont get smoother than you

man. next time, i make time to rap

with you. and i cant help but read

your post with your accent in my

head. good stuff man, good stuff.
Andrew - talk about enthusiastic.

you were a passive intense about EF

and your effort and dedication

inspired me to get down with you guys

next tournament. its on man. cant

wait.
Manhattan Ray - one minute i am

chilling with Bruce and AJ in their

room, next minute i am in your room

asking the dumb question of "so why

do they call you manhattan ray?" duh!

that was a good moment man, thanks

for the conversation and inviting me.

the lunch was real good too as you

brushed me up on and confirmed the

history of the EF figures.
***DWAYNE JENNINGS - Man, you are one

of the stars in this hobby. cats

anticipate whats next from you. and

yet, me, member #85, you reached out

to me and showed me love. and i saw

that you rapped with everyone and

anyone. i wish i could be that

personable. i got some more growing

up to do. it hurt when you said you

came to my room and i missed you. i

would have loved to show what i got,

what i did and what ideas i have.

your work is great and you are great.

and to make you greater, i will send

you the prototypes on my full motion

levitation figure. with out a doubt,

i find you next event and grab time.
Bruce - All i needed was a beverage

and that bit of time explaining the

board to us would been like hanging

with my own crew. working on those

motors and i got a bank all lined up

to rob so i can get one of your

boards. yall think i get an EF Club

going in the prison?
Pat - met you at the Buzzfest and you

remembered. that was nice. made me

feel comfortable. and the momma

jokes were just too funny man.

Adrian - i'm take you up on that

offer to help me with anything. you

are a champ, and nice guy. i

remembered that from buzzfest and you

did not dissapoint this time.

hopefully we can become better

friends and talk about DEM COWBOYS!!
Toukie - Those 'Mugs' were

unstoppable. while you and Corey

were snappin, i was taking notes.

kept hearing about you and you were

just as good as your rep. spoke to

Everson last night and he wants YOUR

autograph.
HiGhToWeR- thanks for the team. got

me one step closer to joining leagues

now.
Erica - real nice hangin with you the

few times over the weekend. you were

the cherry on top for most of the

fellas. you carried yourself in an

extreme professional manner and

commanded respect through that

demeanor. and even when you hung out

a bit, you got it. you have a good

future ahead of you girl, keep up

that good work.

thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm like you, meeting people at the convention just raises my enthusiasm for the hobby. It was nice meeting you this weekend and your jersey made it easy to identify you early. I had my 6 year old son with me the whole time so it limited my time to really hang out but I enjoyed my conversations with you even if they were brief or rushed. Joe

Default You never forget your first one dude.

You was the best neighbor a guest can ask for! Our rooms were right next to each other. I hope I was funny in a good way, you calling me a clown? what do you mean I'm funny? Funny how? Joe Pesci (?) in Goodfellas, classic! lol.

Scott I hope I lived up to the hype. It's hard work but somebody has to do it! I enjoyed your company even more. Thanks for the decal set. You better start hitting those laps. For you guys that didn't know, Scott is a world class swimmer. He was in the pool more than the kids!!!!! That M. Downs jersey with the Super bowl patches was sick!!!!! All those great players the Boys have had, and your fav is Downs????????????? I will never figure that one out!
