Turning the Gunslinger into a Kicker
This kicker can be made to really kick. All that is need is a spring action plus a pivot screw. He can then kick soccer style.
Here is how you can easily take a stock pose and turn him into something totally different! Right Foot Kicker from the Gunslinger Pose 1. Make a clean cut at the neck of the head. 2. Use a hobby knife and extract the ball from the left hand of the figure by cutting underneath the ball as well as around the hand. 3. The ball will spin off and leave your site so have your eyes open! 4. Cut the left arm off and apply Super Glue to that area. 5. Replace with the Howie’s left arm or keep the same arm. 6. Orientate the arm in a manner, that kickers do when they are exerting great force, on the ball. 7. Press the arm and shoulder against the body of the figure. 8. Do not slide the arm. 9. If this is done, it will cause the Super Glue to crystallize and then become ineffective. 10. This tacking method should only take 5 to 10 seconds. 11. Cut the right and left legs at the base of the platform 12. Make a center cut to the lower torso and a right angle cut to separate the right leg from the body. 13. At this point, you can re-position the right leg in a high kicking manner. 14. Apply Super Glue to the right side of the platform and tack the left leg onto the platform at a 45 degree angle. 15. Apply Super Glue to the cut section of the lower torso. 16. Press the right leg to the body of the lower torso. 17. Make sure you put the kicking leg at the angle you wanted. 18. Take a dab of Super Glue and place the ball at the left hand corner of the platform. 19. This makes the kicker look likes he is about to strike the ball. 20. There may be a little neck residue from the cut left. 21. You want to concave the neck so that that head can fit into the neck area at an angle. 22. You want the head to be looking at a low point and towards an angle. 23. Use a hobby knife to cut the ridges in the jersey and the ridge from the top of the helmet. 24. At this point, you’ve created the perfect Jan Stenerud.. Last edited by Reginald Rutledge : 02-03-2008 at 11:17 AM. |

Good Start
Take that left arm and cut it off and reposition it to have a more forceful motion. If the arm is out, it shows he is putting everyting into it. Also, cut the head and make it look downward on the ball for the concentration of the kick.
Touch up the leg socks and put some grass on the surface with Christmas Green (Apple Barrel) paint and you should be good to go! Good start Leonard! Reg |
