Customizing is Art

Ok you know how I do , im cutting and Chopping I have the legs of a BB QB fig just waist to knee cap, A Minister of Defense top torso no arms or head, some random arms from a FF.com fig no Hands, and the calf to shoe left and right lower leg pieces. ok what can i do with this i think I knew by the thickness of the upper and lower torso I was going for a defensive figure. got the dremmel smoothed out the waist and the knee cap bottoms. went to the photo file for a pose Got a killer pose of an inside rushing LB on A perfect lean for a loopers, bet im doing it printed a hard copy and got started (ill post pics of it soon as i can) i wont bore u with all the put together stuff, but for some reason on this fig I was in the zone it came out perfect, perfect balance weight 3.0 with ttc and monster lean. Even though im no fantastic EF artist I understand that feeling when you just nail it, dead on, you capture the spirit of football in what you created,add the paint accessories clear coat decal bond and dry and comeback a couple of hours later and wow. What we do is art.

...and let's not forget, there is a customizing contest with prizes for MFCA members posted in a sticky on the top of the forum...I haven't heard much from anyone on this as yet.
I'm hoping more are planning on entering.

It is art! I wish I could create figures like I see on this board but time does not allow me to. With work and my home life I spend maybe two to three hours a week on MF. Every so often my nephew comes over and we play a game but he is thirteen now and will has discover GIRLS. Oh boy. Hopefully in the next couple of years I can either play in a league or go to tournaments. I want to go to the Buzzball Tourney's and the MF convention.
