Default Biglock reaches out to Excalibur Electronics

Well my EF/MF family tonight I sent a message to the new Kid on Da Block Excalibur Electronics, since the company is in Florida, I kinda felt compelled to contact them introduce myself give them an overview of who we are as a Hobby Community and let them know how the Game has evolved. I advise anyone interested to contact Excalibur and leave them an Emessage on there home web page(just type ExcaliburElectronics in your search engine). Hope Excalibur will see who we are what we do and provide us with some great products.

Update to follow

Stay Blessed

Default That's The Spirit Lock!!! Support Them 2 Tha Fullest

ep on supporting new products.
I don't see how guys can say support Tornado Alley's new $15 QB (which I will be purchasing as well as more bases) and say it is good for the hobby, and then totally clown a new company (Excallibur) who has funds designated to furthering the advancement of EF/MF. Please keep in mind that this is Excallibur's first attempt at creating boards, men, and bases. It can only get better for those who are not satisfied with the current product. Give them a chance. I checked their web-site, and guess what? They are totally sold out...soooooo that is telling me something...if we want them to cater to us and our needs, we need to be more supportive instead of bashing them. It seems to me that it would benefit them more to sell the game as a toy that is purchased during the Xmas Holiday Season and make their $ and not worry about a bunch of whiners who complain about everthing from the material bases are made of to the shape of the bases. When the whiners and cryers do their thing, the hobby looses as a whole. The prices of the products which are no longer made are inflated astronomically on ebay and such.

This is not an attack on you ohionfl, your comments just brought out the ghosts of EF/MF past.

Default Excalibur Electronics

Guys,

I was wondering what happen to Excalibur after the Holidays. With the not so good reviews from hobbiest, it's hard for me to believe they are sold out at $20.00 a bag from the general public! Something eles is going on with them!

Excalibur Electronics is a huige company with irons in hundreds of NFL products. I fear that vibrating football was a test piece to see if there was still a market and for nostalgia it might of succeeded on that level. For the hobbyist however, I will be very suprised if more comes out of it then what we have already seen. Nothing against Excalibur but they are only going to be looking at bottom line when it comes to their product. With Miggle, at least we had someone who truly felt for the game and cared about it's growth. We will not see that same kind of response from Excalibur. I sent them anice letter and an MFCA packet last year with two copies of the Tweak. Zero response. I know others who have spoken directly to the guy in charge of the Vibrating Game. They had open ears to what we had to say but I expect little action.

Anybody got a spare 50-60 grand? We could buy an NFL liscense and liscense our qualifying hobbyists to produce the field covers and decals we want. I'll throw in an even $100.00...
