![]() Does your love for MF keep you grounded, sane, together, etc... When I got my new 308 from Reg around the Holiday's this past year I took some pics of it and emailed them to work to show some friends of mine just how the hobby has advanced. You know what, now when I find myself at work, busy as all get out and just maxed out mentally at times, I am sure we all have those days once in a while, I pull up the pics of my 308 with my Chargers vs Patriots on the field and it gives me that nice mental break, I smile and admire the board, then think how much this hobby means to me. A nice refresher when you need to escape work even for just 20-30 seconds.
I also have my MFCA coffee mug on my desk, along with a TTQB and two receivers, I have been know to stop work for 5 minutes and throw a few passes every once in a while. That's what refreshes me and let's me re-focus and get cracking on the next priority at work. I have dabbled in a lot of different hobbies in my 40 years, motorcycles, hot rods, guns, music, golf, toy collecting, chess, war games and on and on, but none of those have a place in my heart like MF. (motorcycles come close though) ![]() MF helps keep me sane and on an even keel.

![]() Not only does MF keep me grounded, it helps me keep my sanity. There is a saying,"you need some insanity to maintain your sanity". MF is the insanity to help me maintain my sanity. Hell yeah MF keeps me grounded!

![]() Good Post Brother Shabby
To answer your question, when I had recieved an Injury on my job, I was banged up depressed, money wasnt right, EF/MF not only kept me grounded but kept me right mentally, man I mean I was down, my absence from the hobby was painful, I had lost touch with you guys, and was just kinda moping around going thru whatever, my pastor told me to find peace in something and not to let anything contaminate it, I thought he meant coming to service more than once or twice a month, but he said no something that I could put my time energy and God given talent into. EF/MF was that thing, so I got back chopping, cutting and playing and I began to feel better. EF/MF not only kept me grounded but got me out of a bad emotional time in my life, funny what these little plastic men and the buzz of a board can do. Stay Blessed |

![]() As for myself, it's more proof (for my wife) I've never grown up.
I think that's a good thing. Who wants to grow up? It's more fun and probably a lot healthier being young at heart. That's what MF does for me. It's my own little retreat without leaving the house. I go in my office break out my stuff experimenting with the players and the boards, playing games. I'm a kid again. Heck I'm to young to get old! ![]() |

Thank you Biglock! I am glad you were able to keep your head up and get back on your feet both mentally and physically and came back to us again. I do enjoy reading your posts.
