Default Pro line bases?

I have a set of pro line strong TTC flat fronts and put them up against the new TTC bases and new TTC bases win each and every time, Whats the deal with that?

Default Eureka!

Turn them over and compare the "inner workings." You'll notice that the front prongs on the P/L TTCs are not properly placed, meaning they are too far back or not as close to the front of the shell as the regular TTCs. THAT is why they're getting beat up. Plus, if you have a forward leaning figure on them, they're gonna nosedive on ya. So...how're ya gonna fix the dial on the PLs and "move" those prongs forward? I know of 2 ways, but I'll let you brainstorm a lil bit before I tell ya.

Default Nope

It wouldn't matter because the hub itself is too far back as well. What else?

Either cut the hub in the middle and tape the dial up further or cut the bottom of the dial so that it can slide up further?
