Default Arizona Rattlers

Here's my newest addition to the ranks of my mini-ARENA collection. This is only the 2nd squad retrofitted to ff.coms.
  1. Team picture
  2. 1st and 10 from the 5.
  3. Trips Right, Y Loop (Motion) Post. As you can see he's just across the LOS.
  4. Open - sort of!?!
  5. SEE YAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

cool man, great stuff!

how does the motion rule work in arena ball? does the qb have to wait for the motion man to hit the los before the snap, or can he snap it at any time during the motion process?

Default MOTION: YO YO or LOOP

5-13: In mini-ARENA, the Coach (me) is physically moving the WR during the motion and after the Defense has a chance to mirror that action, the ball is snapped.

In this play, I did a "Loop" Motion which simply moves the WR from one side of the field to the other. In most REAL LIFE plays, that motion WR goes just over the LOS. To simulate that in miniature, the WR's entire base may not completely cross the LOS. We give the QB (Offense) a TOTAL of :20 seconds to complete the entire play: snap and pass! DBs must maintain a 5yd cushion. The "Jack" LB (the one NOT blitzing) must stay within 10yds of the LOS: either on 1 of 3 magnets allowed on D or he can roam sideline to sideline.

MJ: Wait til you see them in person! The NY Football DRAGONS are on the table and about 50% complete.

Default Interesting!

Looks good Jimbo. AFL seems like an exciting brand of football.

Question...how are your players mounted on those rookie bases??? (Glue?)

Great work!...just went to the Barnstormer's first game back in AF2 Monday night
they lost 43-41, but there were 10,000 people on hand. It was a blast!

Good eye! I have 1 strip of magnet card attached to the base and to the platform of the players, so the mag cancels itself out and doesn't attract the metal board. They also add weight to the players so I can crank up the speed!!!

CRAP! I missed it. Sounds like it was a good game! No, Warner or Jacox, but good nonetheless! I hope it's accessible through AFLNet. Did their unis change any?
