Default Draft Next Weekend "sleepers To Watch For"

coaches,

The NFL draft is next sat. Who are some great sleepers and from what school should we keep an eye out for.

1) What are the needs of your favorite NFL TEAMS ?

2)who would you like in the draft for you team. ?

3) Will you paint up that player for your efl team ?

I HOPE THE TEXANS GET A RUNNING BACK LIKE RAY RICE OR MCFADDEN !

THEY DONT NEED A QB DUE TO THE GREAT SAGE ROSENFELS (WHO SHOULD BE STARTING)

Can someone give me the names of a few qb''s who can cut it in the NFL

*** IS THAT WR FROM MICHIGAN A SENOIR ' MANINGHAM (IF THAT'S HOW YOU SPELL IT)

LETS HEAR SOME DRAFT THOUGHTS PLEASE.

Thumbs up

A sleeper running back is Matt Forte from Tulane. He accounted
for almost 3000 yards at a bad program. Jacob Hester from LSU
may be a steal. He's not big or strong, he's a little undersized
but he is a football player. Not like some of these guys who
can bench a gazillion pounds and jump over tall buildings, but can't
play football.

As far a qb's, who was the last number 1 draft choice that panned out
into a good qb? Eli Manning is good, but I think the jury is still out. Peyton,
great qb. The Titans qb needs seasoning but the potential is there.

My team is the Dolphins, of course.

I really want McFadden....but the Dolphins will pass up on him, despite an always injured Ronnie Brown and an undependable Ricky Williams. Instead, I bet he ends up a Jet and beats our ****** twice a year. I am hoping Al Davis and the Raiders will snag him before the Jets though.

The Dolphins have tons of needs....so almost any pick is a good one at #1...if you don't try to reach. I would like to see them take Chris Long if they pass on McFadden....but I fear they will take Jake Long. Now why would you pay #1 money to a right tackle though?

IN round #2, I want a defensive lineman to stuff the run, or a good OLB. Since the draft is not deep at linebacker....I suspect we go with Okam to fill a defensive tackle slot. I think that is a good pick. Ellis is better...but he will be long gone by the 2nd round.

After that, I want a tall and tough wide receiver or tight end. Tight end is not deep this year...so I imagine we go WR. My pick....Jordy Nelson.

Default Roethlisberger

Big Ben had 32 touchdowns, threw only 11 picks and was sacked 47 times,

it's obvious the Steelers need to build a wall up front. What if he stayed on his feet another 20 downs?

I read talk about moving Mahan into Faneca's spot after picking up Justin Hartwig, so they've already made Free-Agency moves. They'll most likely pick up an O-Lineman in the first round of the draft.

Although most folks suggest a tall receiver (we picked up Matt Trannon in the off-season, anybody from GLEFL know anything on him ? (he's from Michigan State I believe), I think we need a new RB.

It's not that I don't like Willie Parker, it's that he's not built for the climate and environment of PGH ball, if he ran on artificial turf in a warm climate where he could run to the outside and break, he'd shine, but when it's mud-ball and he slogs to the off-tackle he loses big-time yards, but give him that one game where he breaks a few for 80yds and then his stats go up. I don't like the inconsistencies. I'd rather have a solid back who can pick up 3.9-4.3 yds a carry.

DRAFT THOUGHTS: OT, LB, CB, RB, WR etc

Default Draft thoughts . . . .

I'm not a Dolphins fan but I think they need help all over. If I was miami I would trade down so I could get extra pics. I understand a marque player would be great to get but when you need as much help as miami I would go with extra picks.

I don't have a favorite team but as far as picks I would say after first day (2 rounds) , teams are out to pick need players. First 2 rounds are the marque players. My brother is a huge Pittsburgh fan. I think in first round Pittsburgh should go O-Line.

I read the other day where a columist wrote that the NFL draft was highly over-rated and disappointing. Man , he must be a nba fan ! I eat , breathe and live football 24-7 , 365 days a year !

Now , I don't mean to leave anybody's team out or offend anyone with my comments. I use to do a radio show on local station on football and the draft until station was sold. I love this game !

I think the Dolphins would be foolish not to tae Chris Long No. 1.

As for the Packers (my team), the needs are depth at QB, TE, OT and CB. Picking at 30 in R1, you have to take the best player available. I think the Pack will go CB or OT in R1 and R2, then maybe go for a guy like QB San Diego States McConnell somewhere between R3 and R5.

Sleeper- Mike Hart a guy who never "added up" on paper yet is a great competitor and has been a great performer whenever he has stepped on the field. The Bears or Broncos would be a good fit.

#1 overall I believe will be Jake Long. For good reason, a can't miss left tackle is hard to come by.

Other than those 2 Michigan players , I'm very interested in where the top 5 QBs go in the draft. I would like to see the Bears get one of them.

Default draft . . .

sleeper- Rivers , ILB from the "men of troy" ! USC for all those not familar with that term. I think Rivers is gonna be a superstar LB in the NFL.

I'm interested in seeing where Matt Ryan ends up going to.

I also agree about Jake Long , RT are hard to come by !

Default I'd Trade The Whole Draft...

...FOR A NEW OWNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If female ownership is a peek into how a woman would run the country, then see ya Hillary!!!!!!!! Papa Bear would be VERY upset getting to the BIG GAME and having his star QB lose the game SINGLE-HANDEDLY. Shoulda gave him and Benson their walking papers!!! I DID!!!

Cincy's in as much turmoil as Da BEARS, so here's who I'd like to see suit up for them in the 1st Round.

*With the 9th Pick of the 2008 Draft, the Chicago BEARS select RB from Illinois, Rashard Mendenhall.

*With the 14th Pick of the 2008 Draft, the Cincinatti BENGALS select DE from Clemson, Phillip Merling.
