Default CLM Design Play Chart

OK all you solitare players, here is a rough draft of the play charts.
Two dice (different colors), pick one to be the horizontal line and one to be the vertical line. Roll the dice and find the out come.
I will be working on a defense chart as well.
To Mr. Downs question, on a 3rd and long I would just go to Shotgun and roll a single dice.
Let me know what you guys think thus far.

I HAVE TAKEN DOWN THE GRAPHIC, IT NEEDS A BIT OF TWEAKING.

Default Been Doing It For Years!

I've been using Madden Playbooks since 1994!!! I've never published them for public viewing, so be careful, Chris! I just created a dice chart and a diagram of each formation. Then depending on the team's individual tendencies, I'll shake the box and run that play.

Juice, you'll be happy to hear that I always set my Defense FIRST, based on the spot of the ball, so that they don't cheat on the pulling OL plays. I nabbed that from you. I also practice my Spot Passing on occasion!!!

Thats whats up Jimbo...I got that from this guy in Cincy and man i loved it but other coaches didnt...it even works well when playing others.....it was different and boy did i like it so i just implemented it in my solitiaire play...now if only i can get a leauge off the ground.....

I would like to do something like the Klingbeils did where they had a solitaire league going and then would meet up for playoffs....

We should do something college man....paint up a bunch of teams, play, draft to pros......meet up at these tournaments and play each other.....you game?

Default I Like This, Please Elaborate More

Coaches,

This concept seems pretty nice.

When playing even if you set the defense first, is there a sure fire way from favoring the offense over the defense or vice verse.

for instance,
1) if the play is for the wr to run a post, do you turn the receivers to run with them. ?

2) are there play's just for the red zone (1 dice)

3) are there plays just for 3RD and 4TH and goal (1 dice)
3) would it work if you rolled dice for the offense and defense at the same time ? if so how ?

WHAT IS THE FAIREST WAY TO PLAY SOLATAIRE WHERE ALL OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE MOVEMENTS ARE TOTALLY LEGIT AND CAN WORK 100% AS IF YOUR PLAYING SOMEONE ELSE, OR IN THE MADDEN WORLD, THE COMPUTER.

if anyone has time, i would like to see a detailed list on this for all who are interested. It sounds cool to run a solataire league, but a detailed map is 1 billion percent needed from kickoff to final whistle.

IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE AN OFFICIAL SOLATAIRE RULES/MAP CHART THAT EVERYONE FOLLOWS NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE

I would LOVE to do a Solitaire League. It's looking like that's all I'm gonna have since it's getting harder and harder to get the fellas together! My biggest problem is it takes me soooooooooo long to pimp out a team!!! Forget about doing a bunch of teams. I gotta do them all the same, so it would take a while. MAybe if I just do 22-man split squads to start, then expand later.

Default Guys

Just remember this is a ROUGH DRAFT, nothing is for sale. I wanted to run it passed people to see what the interest would be.
My thought is to have a sheet that would be two sided, one for the O and one for the D. The goal for me is to not give an advantage to either side.
Once both sides are set up, I use the two adjustment rule. Only two players on either side can be adjusted. That means they can be pivoted in any direction needed.
Some things need to be ironed out, I know that, so I am open to any ideas or suggestions.
Thanks for the feedback

Default Call It What It Is

Be very careful, Chris. Do your own artwork. Like I said, I use Madden's Playbooks as well, but I draw them all out on index cards and modify them to accomodate MF i.e. OGs and OTs don't pull if there's a guy in front of them!?!

Why not just point to this website instead of unintentionally making people think it's your work. Share with the PEOPLE, but be careful what and how you share!

Default I will try again

Jimbo, all good advice. I guess what I was only trying to do it show the possiblities of what it could be.
There seem to be many guys here that are in the same boat as me. I was trying to share what I have come up with. Yes, the plays are from that web page. Its a great web site to show how plays are run.
Agreed, I need to change the plays on the chart, but in a rough draft form I hope that everyone gets the idea.
