Unhappy Help, I'm suffering from P.D.

I've heard of it happening to others, but I never thought it would happen to me. Last fall, I decided that I was going to finish the Menonite team. I got all excited thinking about them. I started painting and making the hats and all, and then it happened. I began to lose interest. At first I blamed the Miggle convention. Yeah, it was an incredible experience, but I thought that once that was over, I would go back to finishing the team. But instead ...... nothing I tried to get myself back in the mood. I even went so far as to visit those forbidden web sites. You know, the ones with the figures that are all stripped and primed. Still, nothing. That's when it hit me. I have

Paintile Dysfunction!

Oohhh, the shame I feel. I tried a 3-way with the Menonites and the Dolphins. I had no problem getting the Dolphins done, but when I went back to the Amish guys, my bristles remained limp and my paints are going dry. I thought, maybe I should try doing some animal figures and see if that gets me going, but somehow it just seems all wrong, against nature and all that. I'm at a crossroads, I don't know what to do.

That's why I'm turning to you, my MF brethren for help. Surely I can't be the only one here that suffers from P.D. There must be a cure out there somewhere ???????

Default Take A Rest

Sometimes I have that same feeling. I just don't feel like getting involved with the hobby. Routine can cause one to become jaded. When I feel fatigue setting in, I stop and rest. During that time, I will get involved with less demanding aspects of the hobby such organizing and sorting my equipment.
