SORRY GUYS FOR NOT KEEPING YOU UPDATED! BUT THE AKRON LEAGUE JUST HAD OUR FIRST ROUND PLAYOFFS! AND WE HAD SOME GREAT GAMES! HARVEY BENNET (JETS) VS JOHN MARTIN (REDSKINS) THE GAME CAME DOWN TO THE VERY LAST PLAY WHICH JOHN KICKED A FIELD GOAL TO END THE GAME! REDSKINS 17 JETS 14 GOOD GAME GUYS AND CONGRATS TO JOHN FOR YOUR VICTORY AND WINNING THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR! GREAT SEASON! WE ALSO HAD ANOTHER GREAT GAME THAT CAME DOWN TO THE WIRE! RON JONES (BENGALS) VS MIKE JONES (BROWNS) THIS WAS A HEART BREAKER, THE BROWNS SCORED TO TIE THE GAME UP TO MAKE IT 14 ALL, AND WITH JUST A FEW PLAYS LEFT IN THE GAME, THE BENGALS ROARED DOWN THE FIELD, AND JUST AS YOU WOULD THINK THE GAME IS GOING TO OT, THE BENGALS HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN ON THE LAST PLAY, THEY WENT FOR IT ALL, AND HIS RUNNER BROKE A 60 YARD TOUCH DOWN! ANOTHER GREAT GAME! CONGRATS TO RON JONES ON YOUR VICTORY! AND GREAT SEASON FOR BOTH PLAYERS! THE NEXT ONE WAS ED DAVIS (VIKINGS) VS RICKY POWERS (COLTS) THE VIKINGS HAD NO PROBLEMS OVER THE COLTS! VIKINGS 28 COLTS 14 CONGRATS TO ED DAVIS AND A GREAT SEASON! THE LAST ONE WAS WILL SHROPSHIRE (COWBOYS) VS NELL HARRISON (EAGLES) THIS ONE STARTED OUT WITH A SURPRIZE WITH THE EAGLES SCORING ON THERE SECOND PLAY! BUT THEN THE COWBOYS WENT BACK TO THE BASIC! COWBOYS 25 EAGLES 14 CONGRATS TO NELL FOR WINNING THE MOST DEDICATED AND I WON THE COAH OF THE YEAR! THE SECOND ROUND BRACKETS AS FOLLOWS JOHN MARTINS (REDSKINS 10-1) VS ED DAVIS (VIKINGS 9-0) THE NEXT ONE WILL SHROPSHIRE (COWBOYS 11-0) VS RON JONES (BENGALS 8-3) THESE ARE SOME INTERESTING GAMES GOODLUCK TO ALL PLAYERS!

I see you all had such a great day and congrats to the winners. However, I know my man Mike Jones will be a great champion soon so I have no worries on his dedication and competitive spirit. I also know that John Martin is playing some great football in both leagues. I have my hands full with this guy. These two men have made a great impact in both our leagues and I'm thankful to have these "class act" gentlemen in our league.
