Default What is the hall of fame like ? who has been inside /

Coaches,

What is the hall of fame like ? Are there video's, throwback helmets, player life size replica's, etc etc etc. Is there a gift shop inside ?

Who has the inside scoop on this ?

yes, the have actual gear used in game. my favorite was a buffalo bills (his name escapes me) lineman's helmet that he wore for most of the season with a big crack in it. he wore it out of superstition.
i also like seing tom dempsey's "shoe" that he wore to kick the 63 yard field goal to beat the lions.

As was mentioned previously the answer to your questions is yes. I went to the Hall Of Fame in August 2001 when Lynn Swann was inducted. They have everything you want to see and then some. I did NOT want to leave. They even have a section for EF. That's right they have on display the first gameboards. At least they did then. As for the gift shop you can easily find yourself wanting to buy everything. Trust me the Hall Of Fame is a place you will remember for the rest of your life.

The HOF is awesome.

But let me give you a bit of advice. ... Go when there aren't millions of people there, or even hundreds of EFLers.

That may sound harsh - but when Miggle had their convention there many years ago, I went out to Ohio early for the sole purpose of seeing the HOF that early afternoon on Friday, before many folks came into town. Spent 3.5 hours walking around and I'm not still sure I saw everything.

Being within a foot of Terry Bradshaw's jersey from one of the Super Bowls ... all the HOF busts ... the section on the Pottsville Maroons from 1925 (where my family is from) ... it was all an amazing site. There are also many interactive audio/video exhibits that you will want to take in without a lot of people around.

Then the dinner in the HOF that night with all the coaches was amazing. I mean, we had dinner in the freaking Football Hall of Fame!

You have to check out the NFL movie room, they play excerpts from big time games with the NFL films music, you know the songs, the ones that give you goose-bumps when there played. Its up close and personal on the big screen. The whole place is pretty awesome, all the busts are there, actual jersey's and other equipment (like 5-13 Studios said), from the players who had broken different NFL records, etc.. If you have never been there, you most definately want to take time to check it out.

Default Yes. Yes. Yes

Hey Dre, you're going to love it! All the guys who replied are right. It's everything you can imagine it, and then some. It lives up to the hype.

I will look for some of my photos when we were all there for the Miggle convention.

This will be better, because there will be a real football game. And the NFL will be there.
