Michael,
It might be easier if you would say what doesnt look right on your down lineman. Example the legs, arms, torso...etc.
What figure are you using to create your down lineman?

Default Sorry

I use stock figures and do very little customizing, other than basic arms and legs. Find a picture of a down lineman that you like and then ask the creator how he did it. You might get a better response. Good luck.

Default The Down lineman

Taylor,

I produce about 10 different down linemen. I have a DVD that is out that shows people how to create the down linemen. The problem is that it shows just a few of the linemen. These poses are created from regular stock poses. The DVD has sound talking but I will just show you the steps here.

For this particular lineman, I am using the LT and Speed Demon pose.

Default Wow!

I find this stuff amazing! How about the down center (getting ready to hike the ball) position?

Great stuff Reg!

Thanks Reg, and I had the problem with the arms and the "Stance" of the linemen. I didn't use the right (correct) arms, and my figure looked like it was doing a push-up.
Thanks, Michael

Default Practice and Visualize

Remember Taylor,

On FF.COM plastic, you can manipulate it pretty easily. Just remember to have ice water right there with you because once you re-shape the plastic with fire, immediately immerse it in the ice water bath.

It will become easier grasshopper as you catch the pebble. All in good time!

Default Thanks Reg!

Since I have decided to "redo" my 75th Anniversary Steelers as a full set of FF.net figures, this info, as well as the pics from the "Norbert O-Line" post will be a huge help for me!

Default There are about 6 Different Types of Downlinemen that..

I make.

Some are made from the regular stock FF.Net linemen. These are easy to bend with a lighter and ice water. Always use the LT arms or the Bruce Smith Blitzer arms. These work best. Some linemen are made from the Menacing Enforcer, from the Sprinter Pose, and the Speed Demon. Also the Hawk and the Primetime can make great poses.

A lot of this is visual. If you have knowledge of the figures, this become real easy. You could probably make about 20 downlinemen in about 30 minutes or even less. It all depends.
