their gold has a green hue. you could probably just use testors gold and it would be fine, but if you wanted to be exact, add a little bit of a drab green to it (not too much) to shift the color.

The Saints colors are

Delta Ceramcoat ("Gleams"). Metallic 14k Gold for the helmet.

Any acryllic gloss black.

and Delta Ceramcoat ("Gleams") Pale Gold for the pants. You will have to do two (2) coats as this paint is not very dense. You will see the difference between your Saints and everyone elses. I am working on a set right now.

When I give you a paint swatch, you can take it to the bank that it is 100% correct. I have been analyzing paints for the last 13 months and won't settle for less than perfect. Now you guys don't have to go through all of the frustration.

I don't know if you've ever done this before or not, but don't forget that you will need to buy clear coat as well. I use Folk Art Outdoor Gloss Sealer. Green label. Coat your guys once before decals, and two to three times after. They will be awesome !! Stay away from that testors paint. It spills, smells band, and gets all over your hands. Acryllics wash off with soap and water and off counter tops with windex. It's winter, the windows are closed, and you don't want to pass out at your work desk (smile).

All of the items can be purchased at Michaels. Check the acrylic paint isle; top shelf for the golds. The total price for all three is about $3.00.

Go for it and good luck !

If you ever have a paint question, PM me. That goes for the rest of the family as well.

yes, testors does stink and is a gooey mess. it's my least favorite brand of paint to use except for it's metallics. their opacity is great and they tend to stay thinner longer and they flow out better than any of testors solid colors.
delta ceramcoat you say? it's been a long time since i've looked at any of that. i'm a citadel paints guy myself, but i've used delta paints before and they are very durable acrylic paints.
good luck with the paintjobs!

Ok well I didn't take the advice of any of u guys (no offense I just couldn't find those paints) Instead I used a Metallic Pure Gold (one of the few golds I could find) and I think it turned out very well. I'll post a picture of how it went later today.
