Default Official Rule booklet for the 2008 MFCA Convention is complete!

I have finished putting together the official rules booklet for the 2008 MFCA Convention tourney (see below). There are six reference books which will be availiable at the registration table during the convention. Coaches will be allowed to take rule books to their hotel rooms if needed, as games will be going on throughout the day and night during the weekend. All books need to be returned to the registration table or to me by 2pm on Sunday. Each book contains the following official rules for the touney and information:

•2008 MFCA CONVENTION TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND CPC INSTRUCTIONS
•2008 BUZZBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
•2008 MIGGLE TOYS ELECTRIC FOOTBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
•NHFL RULES & EQUIPMENT FOR THE 2008 CHAMPIONSHIP
•RULES 2000
•OFFICIAL 2007 SEAWALL BRAWL RULES
•2008 SHOOTOUT SERIES OFFICIAL RULEBOOK

Lynn will make an official announcement for the list of officials during the weekend. All information will be available at the registration desk during the weekend.

Two more days...it is upon us!

Please...everyone drive safely and we will see you soon.

Matthew Culp

Default Are The Rule Books For Sale

MATT/WOLF

For coaches who do not have the time to print/copy rules throughout the year, why dont you just sell the rule book to coaches wanting to buy it. It is very nicely organized and coaches can have the rule ALL UNDER ONE ROOF(1 BOOK). aLSO, ARE YOU PRINTING ADDITITONAL BOOKS, Im sure there will be many people there wanting to join the hobby after seing us there. This way they can buy a rule book also to get started right away.

I hope they are for sale. I know that different leagues have different rules but I don't even have a guideline to get restarted. I tried to understand the solitary game but got lost with some of the posts. Will the rules change from one event to the other?

Yes, these will be for sale after the convention. We did not produce a huge number of them ($) but can take orders for more if needed. Matt aka Silverhorse is entirely responsible for the compilng of and the production of the rulebooks so it will be based on his time as to how many of these he wants to produce. They will be sold at cost plus donation to the MFCA and make sure you give Matt a pat on the back because this took some time for him to put together.

You guys have no idea what all this guy does for the MF community and for very little acknowledgement. The MFCA would not be half what it is without Matt Culp.

Default book is nice, but it is missing some...

love it, but it is a little short.

Mainly missing 3 major leagues

Great lakes
Beltsville
NEFL - Philly

however, it will be a great addition to anyone's library of EFL.

Thanks Matt

THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK, BUT...

...don't fault Matt for not receiving the info from any of the leagues you mentioned, K-Lo. He requested Rules from EVERY MFCA member weeks ago and what he has is what he got.

With THAT in mind, I do agree that reps (Commishes) from each of those leagues should get hot and get their set to him next week and I'm sure Matt might be able to do something with it. This was an awesome idea and I'm sure a very tedious one. Many thanks and KUDOS, Matt.

See ya'll in Canton.
