Default Pro-Line problem...

Got some new PL figs....Never had this problem before with them but their heads are not correctly glued to their torso.-There is a long thin post that their head sits on (I never new this until now) and the head is glued but not flush to the body. What can I use to dissolve the adhesive without damaging the figure? Brake fluid?

Well here's what I did...I put about a quarter inch of brake fluid in a bowl and sat the players upside down so the brake fluid only covered the head area-only took about 45 minutes and the heads came off. Pretty easy to put 'em back together correctly...You customizers out there can stop laughing at my post now!:o

Default Not laughing at you, rather WITH you

I discovered that brake fluid and glued figures is a bad combination recently. I had some Buzzball figures that I wanted to strip some paint off of, so the brake fluid bath was doing the trick really nicely, until........the arms and legs started to fall off. It was an unpleasant experience, but something that I surely learned from.

Yeah I know that feeling! I was pretty careful not to get the fluid on other parts of the body, but I did manage to "lose" the QB's arms! I really don't know of anything that will strip paint but not glue...Good thing is the figs are easy to put back together and it lends itself to try customizing
