you're dealing with the best football program in America--it's not even close. No one will beat the Trojans this year. I just hope to GOD that Georgia, or Florida makes it to the BCS title game, so they can take the beat-down that OSU did last night. The SEC is a joke--they don't play anybody but each other and a bunch of 1-AA cupcakes every single year--that's why they can't compete with the Trojans. The Pac-10 is clearly down this year outside of USC, but UCLA beat Tennessee, then got swamped by BYU--what does that say about the SEC? Ariz. St. lost to UNLV last night, but watch what they do to Georgia next week!

I hate to disagree with a fellow Cowboy, but come on--Tebow wants no part of the Trojans. When you have such a predictable offense like the spread, or whatever it is, and Pete Carroll has two weeks or more to prepare, you will have the same outcome as last night. That spread offense is only good against bad teams or SEC opponents. Did you see how whenever Pryor came into the game, the Trojans almost always knew what the play was going to be? You cannot sustain offense against a quality team with that ridiculous offense--the days of the spread offense are numbered. The Trojans dominate the country because they play pro-style football--gimmick offenses have no chance.

It's college football ! Anything can happen and anyone can get beat if they are not prepared to play . There is still a long way to go in the season , so who know's who will be there in January .
On another note , I told my Wife USC would win 35 - 10 { lucky guess } . I then told her if I was Tressell I would start Pryor the rest ofthe season , that way he gets some experience.

Defense wins championships in college football...look at the last four champions...the common denominator was defense. I am not knocking USC...they took Ohio State out back to the shed and let them have it, actually I thought they held back a little and could have won 49-3, but this year OSU just doesn't have the defense. Let's face it, they have not had a good linebacking core since A.J. Hawk and Carpenter, and no pass rush is not going to get you anywhere. USC can be beaten, but there is no doubt they are good...my National Championship matchup prediction...USC versus either Oklahoma or Florida...
