Default WHO WANT'S TO JOIN me in the mpfl "JOURNEYMAN TOURNEYMAN PACKAGE"

COACHES,

I am proud to announce i will be playing with the great anthony burgess in 2009. The MPFL style has alway's fascinated me and it will be a challenge.
I am very excited about this decision. A mutual coach/friend of Mr. burgess who is also joining broke down the nuances of what you can accomplish in the system. I lover that vfact that you can

1) run with the receiver to make a better play on the ball on defense

2)run draw play due to the usage of magnets

3)have your qb drop back to a point where you want him (via magnetic bar)

4) your receivers can run through a coverage via stoppages

5)my favorite item in EF/MF is the ball in the air scenario in which your receiver can run to it and the ball will hit him in the chest or hands

6)your running back can cut back into a hole due to the stoppages.

8) on defense, if a defender is about to sack the qb you can't just cut the board off, you must wait for the timer. If you think about it, in real football, if someone is about to sack drew brees. He cannot just yell freeze and all the action stops(cutting board off).

9)if your running a sweep, you can adjust your wr to throw a massive block to get him around that corner. (via a stoppage)

10)you can re-route your wr to run a
a)come back patern
b)button hook
c)down 5 yards and out
6)fly patterns

whatever you see STEVE SMITH (Of the panthers) do in the nfl, you can duplicate that on the field (via stoppages)

this a coaches x's and o's chess match system that is user friendly once you learn everything there is to know.

If this type of football interest you, please feel free to join the "JOURNEYMAN TOURNEYMAN" weekend travel package along with myself.

JUST IMAGINE THE VARIOUS ROUTE YOU CAN CREATE FOR YOUR RECEIVERS

Default Past Video-Interview With Burgess

Andre:

I did a video-taped interview with Burgess back in the early 90s when I was living in Silver Spring.

He and Vance Warren explained their style of play.

He runs a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrry interesting system --a styles that reinforces that there are various ways to play EF/MF, and that fact alone will keep this sport going for a loooooooooooooooooooong time.

Carpe Diem,
Paul Leslie Gardner

Thank you very much for this post.
I am sure that you will find the this system is very playable for all.

Winning is based on actual football elements such as reading blocks, setting up blocks, reading the coverage, understanding of each position as it relates to it's duties based on the play call.

It is a game of action and reaction move and counter move, it enforces the "team aspect" meaning all 11 players effect the play on you're side of the ball.

Coaches that use the TTQB only as there offense in this system limit there ability and don't do as well as coaches who actualy coach there team. They are sacked because thay can not stop the board to avoid the sack. They are limited to passing to the far side of there offense, they become one dimensional because that is all they know.

What was once know as 80% luck is eliminated and in it's place is 80% actual football elements.

This also address the football players IQ through you, ie adjusting you're player to react to the play as it unfolds.

I wish you well in you're first season and remember this system is not for all as guys will play the way that they like.

I have found that many current and ex football coaches love this system as well as ex football players. They can relate to the actual game that they know.

They tell me that they understand the game and what it takes to make a play work, just like real life. WR blocking down field equals long runs for the RB, identifying who to block on the "O" line to give the QB time to go through his progression.

Default Fyi

Also Dre

This system was created so that " Every One" can play and places every one the same level playing field. It gives every one the same ability to run and pass.

Now what you know or don't know about football will show up. WOW now you put them on the spot, 20 seconds to adjust players avoid penalties, hand the ball of, or pass.

On average it takes a coach 1 minute 30 seconds to do a TTQB pass in EF, in the MPFL you get 20 seconds!

On average it takes almost 3 minutes to set up you're players in EF, in the MPFL you get 45 seconds.

So like I said this style might not be for all because it's more then passing to win, it's all area's of football needed to win.

But Dre, as guys get tired of the old way they contact me for a DVD, so slowly they are catching on.

What I hear is they are smarter then the guy they lost to, and all that he had was his TTQB skill. They want a way to use what they know about the game to win.

Look, there is this lady on my job (an attorney) she saw the DVD and loved it so much and believed in it that after watching the DVD she said it tought her more about football then she ever new up to that point, and now she is helping me to advance it to said toy companies. WOW!!!!!

"you're game helps men and women to understand football more then any game out there". (Her words)

WOW!!!!!!!

Default thank you for having me

hey ant

Thank you for letting me and the TEXANS be part of the MPFL. The style is very interesting and more along the lines of what i want out of the hobby. I will begin practice this weekend. I am going to make the footballs in the air with coffee stirers. I will pratice my receivers and defensive backs to receive the ball and make interceptions. I have various football playbooks with a million play's that can be praticed on. The stops and adjustments in your system will allow me to create on the field. The blocks on players etc etc.

What is the interception rate under this styke of play ?.

is the tdq allowed if i want to throw a quick bullet pass ?

I think you may have the only style in which the db's must run with the receivers

i am very excited about this new dawning.

When i first mentioned starting a league in new york i wanted to play your system first but the majority voted to play the shootout style. I feel like im going home because as you remember, i was the very first in this styles history to buy the dvd in baltimore at the miggle convention. Your knowledge of football is incredible and i look foward to learning what i can in your camp.

thank you again for welcoming
mantaraydre and the houston texans

Default Good Journey

I wish you well, Dre, and may your enthusiasm be reciprocated tenfold in the MPFL. I wish I lived on the East Coast or at the least was independently above broke. Then I could join in on the FUN too.

Locked and loaded at all times,

Jimbo
