Default Do you use your favorite team as your miniature football team ?

I am not using my favorite team in our league and I am having a big problem playing with a passion. I find when I when I use my favorite team I am into the game alot more and really try my best.
Don't get me wrong I still try to do my best with my current team, I am just not fired up at game time.
So the question is do you use your favorite team and do you think it makes a difference ?

I would rather play with my least favorite team. That way it makes losing (which I do quite often) alot more tolerable.

Default I don't care ...

what team I use, ...........I usually build a new team every season, I enjoy looking into the history of that team and put an "all-time" squad together,.........for instance the Detroit Lions team I'm assembling will have Bobby Layne and Greg Landry as the QB's, Alex Karras and Porcher on the D line, Lem Barney and Dick Night train lain lane at DB...

Bottom line is I'll be any team to help a league grow, which is why Raiderman and I let all the new guys have their choice of team as we understand to help light a fire under a newbie, they will be more passionate with their team, and more inclined to stick around.............however, whatever team I use, I always play with passion.

Well, I'll put it this way since I am not in a MF league, I will say I would probably do better with my favorite team. I think this as in Madden. When I play Madden I do a lot better if I am the Vikings, or the Jags. When I am the Packers (which I have been before when your opponent choose your team to make things "fair") I do a lot worse, because I dislike the Packers and I don't want Brett Favre to do good, or I don't want to have a good game with the Packers.
Anyway I would rather play with my favorite team.

Default Favorite team

i think it makes a difference. I have always played with the TItans and put a great deal of work into creating my team each year. The best way to allow every coach to be able to use their favorite team is to have Offenses in dark jerseys and the Defenses in white jerseys. Or you can have full teams in dark and white or alternate jerseys and allow the home team to choose what jersey color they wear for that game. I realize it gets expensive to do that, but I would rather spend my money on a team I am going to feel passionate about
than one I'm not going to want to spend a lot of time or money on.

Regardless of how it is done, I think every coach should be allowed to play with their favorite team.

Cool For me..It is The Bombing Jets-NHFL, Buccaneers-BAM, Cardinals-PEFL, .....

The Shakils-Tourney Team ...for me due to the fact that my first 2 league teams were concept teams..I never went for a favorite NFL team. Now I run with the Buccs and the Cardinals,(underdogs) what makes these my favorite teams is because they were derived from nothing..no bases, no paint, no history...just a chance for me to know what it is like to build from scratch. The networking with EF legends and new generation coaches, the phone callls, the base tweaking, the upgrades, the cuts after all of that any team I play with thats mines is my favorite team and I do not write a roster...I study every player and memorize their tendancies:rolleyes: 3 have been battle tested and 1 is getting ready for an upcoming season. The player that becomes my favorite is the one that was thrown in the junk pile and with 1 last shot it makes the squad and proves itself!!!!!

Default Yes

I am a true blue dolphin fan, and that is the only team that I use in my pro league. I have them in blue, white, orange, throwback and getting ready to have them done in black. DC4L, you feeling me?
