Default How about a National Miniature Football league

Guys I think the time is right to talk about a national tournament played with the winners from each league nationally that would inter this type of system maybe on the shootout rules??

Sounds good to me . Not too sure about the shootout rules though. I do agree to use whatever rules everyone decides on though.

Default Jimmie, as a coach...

I've got my hands full dealing with 3 leagues!

The DFW, CBSMF, and the BAM. I will be playing in all 3 of these leagues this year. I know our CBSMF League is gonna have anywhere from 70 coaches up (if all verbals commit to playing). I know the BAM will have a wide range of characters coming from some regional parts of the country.

So, I for one, will get enough MF playing in these 3 leagues. But hey, that's just one voice.

Default National Tourney

Sounds like a great idea. To have the champion from each league meet to play for title of National Champion!

Correct! There is the NHFL which is 3.3 weight. And in the works is the CBSMF
which will be at 4.0 grams. So what we are all wishing for is already in place in both weight formats. We just need to support it and be a part of it!

Default Actually...

I beg to differ with you George and Geno. I believe "jimmie" is talking about a gathering of all "League" Champions from across the land and have them participate in something you would perhaps call the "Tournament of Champions." To make it a lil more interesting I would also include all Tournament champions as well.

Now, if that's clearly understood, the next step is the rule-set. The only thing I could think of is setting it up similar to the MFCA convention, where everyone would play at least one game under a different rule-set.

Anything other than that would probably not get much support. Someone would ultimately feel slighted if bits and pieces of various different rule-sets were used to make one rule-set.

There has to be a way to keep the all-inclusive theme going. I know if we keep at it, eventually, we will get there.
