Question DFW. BAM and related leagues.....

What is the formula for the playoffs? What is done differently during playoffs opposed to the regular season...for example neautral or home fields for higher/lower seeds.. round robin, 1 and done, seedings....etc?

What are some of the things Coaches do to prepare for the title run(besides play hard all season )?

Default Historically in the DFW....

We have always allowed the top six teams in both the NFC and AFC into the play-offs. Conference leaders receive first round bye's .. we play home field advantage based on those rankings.... we also consider the number of games played and or forfeit win's given during seasonal play.. not always black and white but every attempt is made to be fair. Someone with a 8-4 record who had 4 forfeit wins shouldn't be ranked above someone with a 7-5 record with no or only 1 forfeit win... we are looking at 1 Pt for wins and 1/2 pt for forfeit wins... if anyone a formula they have found success in, I would love to hear it...
