Just a thought for everyone

Hey coaches, I have learned some really interesting things about this hobby from just about every coach on this website. I am fairly knew at this hobby and I kind of stay out of the way. I think most leagues out there have their own unique qualities and rules. You guys are some of the most imaginative and creative people I have seen. This may be, or sound crazy from a newbie like me, but what I think would really be great for minature football is to have a national playoff starting by region each year. I know there has been talk of some sort of a national championship for minature football. It would be great for some sort of compromise on various rules to be put together just for this to happen. We could get some kind of interest vote from the various coaches around the country. You would not need to be a winner, or champion of a league. Any body could enter. Start with regional rounds within a 2 or 3 hour radius of the coaches. It might take the entire year to finish the tournament with a few scheduled tournament rounds every other month throughout the country. This may be a stretch, but wouldn't it be great to go national. I do not believe there would be a thousand coaches who would play, but I do believe we could get maybe a couple of hundred to start. There are some truely devoted coaches out there who work hard at this hobby. The type of excitement this would bring to the hobby would definitely reward the hard work coaches put in to build their team. This is my thoughts and aspirations that I hope maybe one day this hobby will climb too!!

However the issue with this is that coaches can't agree on what type of rule set to use. My thought is why are there so many types of rules ? Don't get me wrong I do understan why, but why not just play football ? Use actual football rules.

The maner in witch coaches play supports there likes and might not support actual football. A national event will draw the meda, and what will there opinion of this hooby be ?

Right now there are 3 ways guys play, it would be cool if we had areas of game play.

Beginner- High School: Coaches can paint there High School team, tweak there bases, ttqb passing and play at a beginner level ( The way we played back in the day ) Any touch is a tackle, One Stop .

Intermediate- Collage : Coaches can paint there favorite collage team, tweaked bases, costum figures,ttqb passing, proper stick passing system, 3 magnets on the defence, 2 on the offence. Board stops twice. Any touch is a tackle.

Advanced- NFL : Coaches can paint there favorite football team in a manner that reflects actual football. Weighted players, front part of the base tackling, 4 stoppages, costum figures,.......

What the meda will see is football on all levels and this would help promote the advancement of this hobby to the public.

This is just an idea of what it could be if we could some how come together and do whats best for the hobby and not whats best for a group.
