Default A Major Problem In Our Hobby That Needs To Be Corrected

COACHES,

Watching NFL countdown sunday the mention of electric football was very brief..

1) packers qb said "electric football players should have real legs" . Then for a split second the show some very bland players buzzing down field.

The scene shifted back to the set with boom, keyshan, cris carter.

boom say's something to the effect, " REMEMBER ELECTRIC FOOTBALL, I USE TO LOVE THAT GAME AS A KID " WITH CRIS CARTER AGREEING.

THEY HAVE no idea how it has changed and how big it is gotten.

Is there a way we can send a email or MFCA letter to the show letting them know how big the hobby has grown. WE MUST STRIKE RIGHT NOW WHILE THE THOUGHT OF ELECTRIC FOOTBALL IS ON THERE MINDS. who know's, they might just do another piece on it in a few weeks with the information we provide. BOOM, " remember a few weeks ago we had a mention of a childhood game called electric football. Well there is a association consisting of 200 members that contacted nfl countdown letting us know the game is still alive and gaining popularity again". We can provide them with the website info here, maybe send them a few tweak mags, and some custom figures of get this

1) keyshawn johnson as a JET CATCHING A PASS

2) CRIS CARTER CATCHING A PASS AS A VIKING

3) MIKE DITKA IN HIS TE DAY'S AS A BEAR (OLD SCHOOL UNI)

4)TOM JACKSON IN A LB STANCE AS A DENVER BRONCO

5) MAKE An OAKLAND RAIDER UNI WITH THE NAME "BOOM" ON THE BACK, HE IS ALWAY'S SAYING "THE RAIDERS"

This would sell to them and be pretty cool if we could make this happen.

does anyone have these figures as a blueprint already

I'm not good on creating the custom poses and stuff. But if someone has poses that they can put together for these scenes that Dre described, I'd be happy to paint them up.

Default I Thought You Wanted To Grow The Hobby

COACHES

Where are you on this. I thought we wanted to grow the hobby. This is the perfect opportiunity to at least give it a shot. THE NAME ELECTRIC FOOTBALL IS IN THERE EAR. they all agreed they loved it as a kid. This is the perfect opportunity for FOOTBALL AMERICA to know about our web site.

the rest will take of itself.

thanx roo for offereing to paint. I hope someone will customize something so you can do it.

chris fields (5-13) has offered to paint the mike ditka figure. I feel he is the best candidate to do the figure because of his painting style. He can capture that old school rustic look. chris, thanx for offereing to do this.

att weirdwolf, what do you think about all of this. CAN A LETTER ALONG WITH SOME TWEAK MAGS BE PROVIDED. Only you could present a nice package for the NFL COUNTDOWN CREW.

IT'S WORTH A TRY FOR THE ADVERTISING PURPOSES.

Default You know I have...

Some videos all ready to shoot their way. And there are many, many others people have posted here.

Not really a need to create all new - we have some good material ready.

What do you Manta Ray?

We cold a few of these to the producers of the show and maybe get them to come up to The Wiz - or set up a demo for them somewhere in NYC?

I'm for it. I just am under terrible time constraints this week with Thanksgiving. I am gone from Wednesday morning till Sunday night. We need addresses to send to. The MFCA can provide magazines and whatever else but someone else is going to have to take the lead on this if we are going to try and do this this week.

Default Hey Manta Ray!

You proposed the idea - you ready to run with the ball?

Wolf - you know I would be willing to help out - but if we are doing this as an extension/ representation of the MFCA I would like some guidelines on how to proceed and present the MFCA correctly.

Default Hey All

COACHES,

Next week is the time to send things out. Or even early the week after. But the ball needs to be rolling down hill already. I cant personally make anything. I was hoping coaches would help out. Also, i think wolf should represent a package coming from the MFCA. wE NAVE 5-13 ON BOARD FOR THE MIKE DITKA. WE HAVE ARTLAX UP FOR VIDEO.

WHO IS UP FOR THE OTHER FIGURES

I WILL TRY AND TRACK DOWN A ADDRESS FOR THE NFL COUNTDOWN SHOW. (NOT A PO BOX)

PS/IF SOMEONE TAPED THAT NFL COUNTDOWN MAYBE WE CAN SEND THEM THAT PIECE OF THE SHOW TO JOG THERE MEMORY JUST IN CASE THEY FORGOT.

Default a concentrated effort to one point

If we chose someone like Boomer, for example, and tried our best to get him a letter from our president, a Tweak magazine, and maybe a figure for each of his uniforms when he played pro, and college. We may attract some attention.
It is out there and we are the top of the food chain. There is no other place for unity and promotion to keep the game " that they said they loved as kids " alive.

I would be willing to help out by either customizing figures and/or detailing them up. Whoever would be leading this just let me know what you'd want to see.
