2 Check egos at the door 3 Challenge your abilities, not the rules 4 Respect your opponent and compete 5 Remember it's a game I must tell you this story about Mike: We were at the Miggle Convention late-night and he asked me to scrimmage him. He ran a play and opened a beer. Now all while he's doing this I am resetting my defense. Mike is sipping his beer not touching anybody on his team. So now I'm like, aren't you going to set up? Mike took another sip and stated, "What are you in a hurry for"? Chill out and have a beer. Enjoy the game. So I try to slow down because Mike is sipping his beer. So I grab one take a sip and start clowning with then some ten minutes later he yells, get your but over here and run a play. I think we got one series apeice in about three hours. Looking back I realized that I had played so competitively over the years that I did not stop to enjoy the game, just win. Along the way we shared secrets where he adamently tried to teach me how to pass with my thumb. It really was epiphany for me and confirmed that this game could truly be enjoyed if played under the right circumstance. This is our last hurrah!
