Default All that was said, and then some......

Go into every league game, fun game and EF MF EVENT with the appropriate attitude. And at this "stage" of the game, EF almost phased out of the mainstream, we should just feel lucky that we still have somebody to play the game with.

Then, act accordingly.

IF HE'S A NUT,
good point, but that only applies to the new coach or young coach. More experienced coaches will not give up too many "trade" secerts because they may not feel they can overcome someone knowing their plays....

The difficulty of bringing more coaches into the fold, is because iof many things.

Here are my two main 'roadblocks' to advancement
- EF is 100% hands on
- lack of knowledge on EF & unwillingness to 'develop something from hand'

and of course the Video games.........

Default Intergrity.

Does not start on a board,
In a league,
Or during a game.

It starts at home,
teaching and mentoring kids,
then having to be the example.

People who can't keep their house together due to trust or neglect.
People who are always telling you about themselves and how they can be trusted.
People who point out the bad guy to you.
People who have children but find every reason to blame the other for not being able to see them.
People who feel they are nobody without being a winner in this game.
People who, once they have failed, find every reason to screw over one of their own because they want to be the first.
People who gang up on a good coach because they don't want them to win their league.
People who pile bases to your opponent because they don't like ya.
People who make rules to hinder others because they can't learn to adjust.

on and on and on

It starts with being unselfish,
then continuing to do in the face of those who do otherwise.

Integrity is not just the game, or the fellowship
because you can enjoy neither without it.

The correct word is trust.

You can't TRUST people to do the right thing.
You can't TRUST people to be honest in their dealings.
You can't TRUST people to own up to their mistakes.

Although you may be the only one in the room doing so.
When people see an injustice, speak up! Stop watching while knowing the truth. It perpetuates the madness.

Forget the cheaters. They are like drug addicts, alcoholics, pathelogical liars. They are so far in denial that they try to make you believe that you are the liar, or cheater, or theif.

Look yourself in the mirror. Know who you are. Don't become one of THEM!

And then there are the theives around here. That's worse.

Just my thoughts.

Great point Ken we as has vets who play this hobby must understand winning isn't everything. There always going to be a winner and a loser. But if winning at all cost is a priority to you. Than you need to step back and take a good look in the mirror. Because at the end of the day were talking about some plastic men.

Observations and the like.

I know it seems crude but the comments are not directed at anyone more than the overall problems some of us have.

On the flipside some are too trusting. Some mean well but sometimes get over their head and don't know how to work it out.

I learned a long time ago on Ebay how to be careful. Once you find someone good stay with them.

A great example for me is Chris Stacey, and Mike Guttman. I know there are other great painters who have their integrity. However, for my money I will stick with their skillset knowing my money is SAFE. No wait, no worries. Communication never a problem. Timeliness never an issue. Can they put wings on guys and make them fly, probably not. But I know for sure that what I ask for I get. No complaints whatsoever. So I do not venture. If I did I would probably look up Frank Jacobs.

Duane Jennings-Always gives you what you ask for, no frills, dead on, right away.

In fact, why don't we take all this negative guff and turn it into a positive. Let's start a post ONLY, and I mean ONLY, speaking of people we have had Good TRADES with. Maybe it could be a sticky in the trade forum and be the only post that can go on.

If they are not on the post, then it's your fault if you don't see the red flag. If a person starts out great, then screw you over, then remove your post with a statement, "I retract this post supporting this product". That way you are not accusing anyone of anything. Of course if I saw this and I was about to deal with someone I would surely send a "Private Message" to find out why the post was retracted, NOT DELETED.

Based upon my reading and talking with my brother this would not make the MFCA liable for anything.

Just my thoughts.

I've only traded/purchased/received from/with Treks1, GrandmasterKC, Mozeek, Larue, HOOP, and 46Defense. Happy to thank them and recommend them all. Treated me fantastic!

Default can't resist

Integrtiy,

levell shelton told me at the miggle in baltimore, "Integrity and character is what you do when no one is looking "

When your not 100% in agreement WITH SOME COACHES all the time. They will figure out a way to view you as an outcast instead of and honest person who chooses to think for themselves. Trust me, THE CELL PHONE CLICKS STILL EXIST. Im not a phone person and never was. If i contact a coach it is strictly business in regards to decals or services. more coming.
I did talk to some coaches in the past via phone outside of business and they all have turned out to have done something. a coach can be deemed not a team player via the cell phone gang. I WILL ADMITT, i did a taste test several times to prove a point to myself. I HAVE PUT UP SOME CONTROVERSIAL POST PURPOSELY TO SEE A PATTERN.

Before this phony post i look to see who is online at the bottom of our page. I see it is not many. Then i put up the phony post. 2 minutes later it is always the same cast of characters who miraculously appear on line all at the same time. That is the cell phones working overtime. Ring, ' you see what dre posted ". I noticed this at least 10 times. Then the replies comes, well this well that.

This is why trust comes to visit me very seldom. I was taught to always watch everybody. A wise man told me to never take with both hands and expect nothing.

I learned to totally appreciate the good ones in the hobby . There are some great ones in our world. The great chris stacey is at the top of the list.
To me, ken allen is like THE GREAT AL SHARPTON. Because he will tell you like it is and do what he can to solve problems objectively.
