Getting ready to construct team...need advice before I purchase

I'm still waiting for some figures to arrive before I can get my whole team together. So, right now, I'm getting my OL together and working on some plays. I've got ITZ dials on my OL, but they're not real strong. Soon, I'll be getting into the tweaking part of the game. I'm not worrying about numbering right now; just getting the players to do what I want them to.

Also, I plan to have about 6 teams once they are all trained, and I will do each of them a little different and then determine which team worked out the best for me. I will determine this with a solitaire league of course, and yes there will be a championship!

I'm content to build just 2 teams. I'm not going to join any leagues; just enter tournaments. One team will be a pure Miggle team for their tournament; the other will be mixed players for other type tournaments. Once I've got my teams built, I'll just do practice sessions and scrimages to hone my skills.

As for games, I got the Miggle Electric Football Challenge game which is ok and fun for now,..my real plan is to either get a 308 or make my own board.

I just got a new 620 for Christmas. With the teflon tape and felt washer, I've cut the loud buzzing, but it doesn't run super fast like I see others run. Eventually, I'll redo this one or just build my own. For the sake of space, the 620 is a good size for me.

I hear ya, but with six teams I think the greater variety will help me establish a nearly perfect team by combining all the best players of all six teams into one team. That is also why I am not too worried about painting yet.

The best thing you could do is try and join a local league. This way you can see what other coaches are doing and fine tune your talents. If you just show up to a tournament without some "seasoning" you'll be a first round statistic.
